use .28 bbs. it will make the accuracy 100% i have a full stock one without airbrake mod and i use to use .2 and almost sold the gun becase of the piss poor accuracy. but if you use .28 bbs you will honestly be amazed by the improvement in accuracy. great vid by the way

exactly what the name implies. It slows the air down a little so the gun isn't so noisy. So if you do this mod, be aware that the gun will be louder

I shall put down my knowledge and try to clear up some stuff and questions for some of you guys. You can upgrade range by increasing your guns power, adjusting your hop up to the proper setting, choosing the right ammunition and changing to a harder hop up rubber. Power can be upgraded by doing this mod but it will not give you 500 fps on its own (unless you have a factory "lemon"), for 500fps you would need to consider new spring, cylinder, cylinder head, etc

To increase accuracy you will need to properly zero in your scope, check wind, make sure you have a clean barrel, increase the weight of your ammunition and generaly aim better ( crude but often true). A tight bore barrel will often increase accuracy and pump up power by a massiv 7-20 fps!! Hope this helps and stops the bitching and moaning. Joe

cutting the long nipple thing in the air break decreases accuracy and exchanges it with higher fps. this would be due to the fact that shortening the "nipple" creates a vacuum effect with the air in the gun. so moding like this is basically - accuracy : + fps.

thats the general effect for those that dont know thats gonna do this mod.

the vacuum caused has no effect on the ammunition. what it does is effectively shortens the compression area in the cylinder and that causes a drop in power and subsequently accuracy. This however, DOES NOT ALWAYS HAPPEN. I am not shouting at you, just offering a correction.

what size BBs were you using? if it was anything below .28's the accuracy isn't going to be that great. at least not with mine. if you were using .28s in this vid then i'm probably going to continue being pretty skeptical about this...because i want to increase my accuracy and range (i'm not worried about the FPS) pretty badly.

what weight you mean. I would use TSD .28g or KSC Perfects .3g. Be sure to clean your barrel as well.

That, right there, is the most bull I've ever heard. FPS does not automatically = more range, it is about quality of air seal, hop and barrel (and more but these are most important). You can acheive 60m on 328 fps with certain set ups.

You always want to buy 0.2 gram BBs. These are usually white or black in color. Never buy colored BBs, or 0.12 gram. The extra weight makes sure that the BBs are more accurate and fly farther. For this gun I would even recommend 0.25 gram BBs, they will go just as far with more accuracy.

Necropost, I know. If you want a new spring you need a new piston and spring guide. Don't bother getting new spring, just get some PDI sears and a PDI 6.01 MM TB and you'll be more accurate than with an upgraded spring. FPS isn't everything!!

also from that side you can increase and decrease trigger pull weight and trigger travel (how far you pull it)

There is the Standard version (NO SCOPE), There is the scoped version (Scope, Scope Rings And Top RIS Rail) And there is the G-SPEC model (Scope,Rings,Top RIS Rail Suppressor and different barrel. In my opinion I would go for the G-SPEC. It isnt much more but it is excellent value for money.

Ever since I performed this modification, my cylinder requires an unnecessary amount of force for it to be returned into the receiver. When I'm cycling the bolt handle, it's easy to pull back but is relaitively hard to put back in and slams into the receiver which may cause cracking later down the road, I inserted the cylinder in correctly and I'm not quite sure what went wrong any help would be great.
