How formal is this competition? I notice that you have posted a few videos of this event. Are the riders not allowed to put their feet down during a section (due to penalties)? It would seem that an easy win would be to select the lightest bike permissible and go flat chat if one is allowed to use ones feet to prevent wash. That uphill run is not easy by adventure standards but if that 950SE is the best of the bunch...
Of the bikes I own the KTM is a whole new experience in power and size. Love it off road and look forward to getting it out west this summer.
