I couldn't agree more. Love both Springsteen & the Beat Farmers. One can only hope for a documentary on the best freakin' live band I've ever seen (ahem, the Beat Farmers). Springsteen's re-invention of this song on the Magic tour comes close to this...But only close. This is THE definitive version of this song IMHO.
Bowie does a cover of 'growing up' that at least equals this, but this is the best version of this song.
