  • @castlechilll one I don't give shit how she spells her damn name either way Cyndi and Cindy is the same fucking name. She still fucked up the national anthem! The fact that you are so hard up on responding to evey criticism just goes to show that you are a fucking loser! Oh by the way chill is spelt with two Ls not with three if we are going to talk about spelling, jackass

  • UM LUXO AI AS PORCARIA DO GOOGLE E CERTOS JORNAIZINHOS DISSERAM QUE ELA ERROU O HINO, SE ERRAR E SER APLUDIDA DE PÉ, POIS FOI O ERRO MAS EMOCIONANTE QUE JÁ VI, CYNDI JÁ CANTOU O HINO AMERICANO UMA QUATRO VEZES, E MUITA DESPEITA COM CYNDI. ESSA PARTE PODRE DA MIDIA BRASILEIRA E U Ó! AI SIM E UM PAIS NÃO AQUI ESSE LIXO A ONDE SÓ TEM LADRÔES,

  • Of all the times to get it wrong it would have to be the 9/11 anniversary, she is a good singer though.

  • Cyndi was also involved in one of the most famous wrestling storylines ever! It was "Rock Vs Wrestling at the first Wrestle mania. The late Captain Lou Albano appeared her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" video.

  • Cyndi's sucess dried out by the early 1990s,but what she did in the 80s was iconic, everyone form Katy Perry to GaGa cite her as an influnce. She has been acknowledged by the AMAs, the Grammys and the Emmys.Being the first woman to have four top5 hits from one album&continuing that with number one hits such as True Colours and the Grammy Award Winning I Drove All Night.Yes she fizzled out, but recently has made a comeback with two acclaimed albums and the biggest selling blues album of 2010.

  • People are far to critical of celebrity's...she's a talented singer who made a small error. I'm sure she feels bad. I wish all the negative YouTubers never receive such scrutiny in their lives...PS she sounded fine to me.

  • i dont think any REAL artist would consider any MTV award a success...thats like saying i won the Kids Choice award from Nickolodeon...CastleChill...shut the FUCK up....and grow up and dont INBOX me dumbass...

  • Comment removed

  • Have a friggin Barbie made in his honor, win an Emmy. Prolly not gonna happen. Shes an AMERICAN success story! she made one mistake so shut the hell up you sound like an idiot......

Really, really, REALLY CastleChill...I sound like an idiot? REALLY??? no she sounds like an idiot on that stage...and you sound like a bigger idiot for trying to defend someone who hasnt had success in almost 25yrs....when was the last time she was ever nominated...oh and MTV awards dont count dumbass

  • @nathan210 She was nominated for agrammy last year actually and her latest album spent 14weeks at number one on the Billboard blues charts and became Billboards most succesful bues album of 2010. So actually inpsite of what you say, she has had success as of recent

  • : @nathan210 Well then..let's see if your 2 year old son can land himself on the cover of Rolling Stone, Newsweek and People all in the same year, Sell over 30 MILLION albums, win a grammy for Best New artist get 17 other Grammy nods, win an MTV award , 3 American Music awards, Have 3 Billboard #1 hits, have ten top 10 hits,

  • So this is what some STUPID IDIOT name CastleChill sent me....btw she hasnt been on the radar in almost a quarter of a century...why would her accomplishments be anything now? for a couple of "one hit" wonders... please. Celine Dion knows the words to the national anthem and she's CANADIAN!!!!

anywho...enjoy this from STUPID IDIOT CastleChill...

  • She was bangtidy in the 80s

  • Before anyone else make another scathing comment about her career, you should know that Cyndi Lauper made history by being the first artist to have four Top 5 hits back to back from one album. She originated the thrift store look she was the original Lady Gaga, she has a super strong fan base, and for those who say she's overweight, I say she looks good for 58.WHAT!!!!!

  • I imagine it would be hard for anyone to be singing this song during this tribute and at this location, let alone someone from NYC themself. This was such an emotional day for everyone in the city...I am proud of her.

  • she hasnt had a hit in well over 20 years, and i havent heard of her winning any grammys lately.. have you ? ?. shes just a has been that needs to quit.

  • @JerryNichols70 Yeap!!! and Marilyn Monroe made a movie last year.... Some artist become legends because their work and accomplishments can you deny that? Gloria Gaynor just had one hit.... LEGEND.......

  • @erasermusic good point

  • @JerryNichols70 Thanks and my respects!!!!!

  • whats up with the negative comments??????cyndi is awesome since the 80s ! i sang this anthem for my hs grad many years ago and it takes balls to sing it !!!!

  • Eh, really not that bad honestly. Anyone that is bashing her in all honesty, could you sing better?

  • She did a great job, just one piece of lyrics, anthem or not this is just a song, we are all human, been there takes a lot of courage & you get nervous, also some parts are the same but different lyrics so you confuse them. This is just a song, just because you forgot a word doesn't mean you butchered the song. The only other problem I would say that the high notes could have been better. But Cyndi has already proved she is an excellent singer, mistakes happen, who cares, she's an artist.

  • lol i still think she is awesome

  • she was drunk

  • @crotchboots nice boots tho

  • Stop bashing Cyndi she said she got choked up in the middle thinking about what happened in NY on 9/11, she's a New Yorker after all, so how stupid it is of people who bash her (I'm sure none of them lived near ground zero but Cyndi does so she knows what it was like that day).

  • or maybe she was high

  • Maybe. Some singers depend on being accompanied by music. If you want to hear the best group that does this song a capella then check out a video of Huey Lewis and The News! They ALWAYS do this song without music!

  • she's awesome!!~~

  • Is it a coincidence that she messed up on the anthem like Christina Aguilera because both did an acapella? Both have done it perfectly before but with music playing along. Well Christina did do an acapella many years ago perfectly, but I guess since it wasn't for a worldwide audience, she wasn't nervous.

  • Yes, she is American! She was born on June 22, 1953 in Queens, NY.

  • Cyndi's lives near Ground Zero so of course she got choked up thinking about what happened in NY that day,

she got 1 word wrong but people are making it sound like she's a terrorist, that's so stupid,

Cyndi is more patriotic than the skunks who are bashing here.

  • is she even American?

  • I am the person that mentioned that this is the most difficult song to sing ever written! Don't worry about the typo! I have sung in front of large crowds many times. Yes, I do get nervous. That is natural.

  • @Krazy4Boots she is a wretchid whore and I hope she dies soon. She doesn,t have enough respect for our country to fucking practice.I don't blame kids when they fuck it up but what the fuck man.

  • Yeah, I made a typo.

I guess that makes me retarded now, right?

Don't bother to point it out, I'm already aware of it.

  • Cyndi is wonderful, and the fact that she goofed doesn't change that.

As someone else mentioned, it is one of the most difficult songs to sing ever written!

My God, unbelievabe how barbaric people are acting because she made a mistake.

If L'il Wayne mad that mistake I bet it would have gone unmentioned.

I am sickened by my countrymen who would make countless videos and attack Cyndi for making a mistake.

Why don't we attack Obama instead. HE IS DESTROYING AMERICA. Anything to say about THAT?

  • The "high" note on the word free is one octave above the note the song begins on.

  • She needs to get deported! ohhhh.....snap here comes ICE

  • she sounds druNk!

  • THIS PATRIOT & Amazing artist put her Heart into singing the National Anthem ~ by the way she grew up in Queens New York . It was a very emotional event Could you have done it better.

And by the way she is a gift to modern music !

For some of the most wonderful singing ever check out her DVD Live at Last or watch any clip from that performance. In 1977, Lauper damaged her vocal cords and took a year off. She was told by three doctors that she would never sing again. Thank God for her Voice

  • Cindy wasn't alone in the mistakes. My Marine brothers somehow got the big flag displayed incorrectly. With the color guard and Ms. Lauper at the top of the screen, the field of stars should have been on the upper left corner of the screen.

  • @dragonfirerich you can flip that any which way you want depending on the position you are at the stadium. However, Ms Lauper, served as the side the pole would be for the flag to be raised, therefore it was properly displayed.

  • Too painful to watch all the way through.

  • That was actually good but she was just singing it kinda lazily and not like a proud patriotic which was the only flaw.

  • Cyndi is awesome. Who gives a shit if she screwed up. Like she is the only one that ever did that. I love you Cyndi !!

  • It may be difficult song to sing - but it should not be difficult to remember the words. Btw: half of the people didn't notice it anyway ...

  • I bet she was wasted. lol

    What is the Guy shouting?

  • It was a great performance

  • come on.... it's our anthem. not a song to be danced to, nor to sing showing off how many curly cues your voice can make. everyone, it seems, who's ever asked to sing it apparently feels like they have to put a different twist to it. well knock it off. people get so involved with making their version new and clever that they make a complicated piece too complicated. and for that matter, when you know you're singing it on national television, pull out some cue cards!

  • What everyone doesn't get is that the reason why they are always asking different people to sing the anthem at various events is to attest to the fact that the anthem is not a song that professional anthem singers sing at sporting events. It's to symbolize that this song is for the people, sung by ordinary people.

If the singers practised is until it was flawless, and mechanical, then that defeats the whole point.

Cyndi Lauper has such an angelic voice, that's what's important.

  • @Nomoreidsleft right.

  • cyndi i love you...you are a human...a great big artist...

  • Where's Kanye west when U need him????

  • I could have done it better.

  • @TheBluntybill Really? have you sold 30 MILLION albums? could you win a grammy for best new artist? did you write "Time after Time" and take it to #1 in 13 different countries? no. you couldnt have done shit better. after you are on the cover of Rolling stone and win a few MTV awards and become a pop icon that even Madonna has admitted to copying then you can stand up there and give it a try! She's human even stars make mistakes.

  • @ 8SpOrtsgUrL8 Thank you! I don't think we are asking too much that a seasoned professional singer gets the lyrics right to our anthem. Maybe we're a little spoiled in Chicago, where we have had heard some great renditions at sporting events. Particularly by Jim Cornelison at Sunday's Bears game, and Wayne Messmer at Cubs and Blackhawks games. Literally gives me goosebumps.

  • @52Barney The poem was Defence of Fort McHenry. The original music was titled To Anacreon In Heaven, which was written by John Stafford Smith.

A rampart is a barrier wall.

I won't bother adding the three additional verses, nor the additional verse that was added during the Civil War, as I have no need to prove anything to you.

Now go back to playing World of Warcraft in your parents basement, genius.

  • At 1:06 what does that guy yell out.

  • not ours.... only the best singers ever are capable of pulling it off.... and even then they might mess it up because they are hyper-aware of it's difficulty and how opinionate porkers online will rip you a new one for makeing a mistake. GET OVER YOURSELVES!

  • My fellow Americans.... why are you so ***damn hatefull... this has to be one of the hardest songs ever to sing. It's retarded that it is even our national anthem. Most national anthems are easy to sing... so that everyone can sing it ... like a sing along... making it feel more patriotic because even non-singers have the ability to participate in singing it...

  • This is the most difficult song to sing ever written. It has several different octaves which includes a very high note at the end. I know a lot about music. I love to sing. This song is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as being the hardest to sing. You have to give Cyndi credit for singing this song a Capella (without musical accompaniment). The musical group that does a fantastic a Capella rendition of this song is Huey Lewis and The News. .

  • @Krazy4Boots The Star Spangled Banner's melody spans 12 notes. That's 1 1/2 octaves. One octave is 8 notes( to get from an A to an A or an F to an F and so forth is 8 notes) That is not even remotely a wide range of notes. Take some music theory lessons before you start talking as an authority on a subject you obviously know nothing about. I know alot about music. 15 years of piano lessons and both parents are choir teachers. Cindy flubbed the lyrics. Stuff happens.

  • It doesn't sound much like the butchery I heard people claiming it was, nor does it strike me as disrespectful. She made a mistake during a live concert. At least no one fell 50 feet or bit the head off of a live bat or dove.... and at least we know she isn't lip syncing like so many others have. She has a lovely voice.

  • seriously how many times have you heard this song in your life and she can't even get the words right? Shes seriously on some kind of drugs and the only reason everyone was applauding was because they were happy that it was over lol

  • why is she swaying back n foreth? drunk much!?

  • You don't groove and swing when you sing the national anthem! And everyone cheered still, like its OK. Plus she doesnt' even know the words, she must have practiced to the Christina Aguilera version! Wake up people, don't let the little things slide, because they get bigger!

  • @curtmath Cyndi Lauper can groove and sway its HER style. Cyndi Lauper is a pop icon she has sold over 30 MILLION albums and has #1 billboard hits, a Grammy for best new artist, MTV awards for best female video, shes been nominated for 18 grammys one of them being in 2011, graced the covers of everything from "Rolling Stone" to "Newsweek" ,and had a BARBIE made after her this year! yeah she made 1 mistake after being in the public eye for 3 decades, what will get bigger is her career!

  • Cindy WHO ???

  • @Hemulen40 LOL the fact that you dont know who Cyndi Lauper is is a discrace to AMERICAN pop culture. She is the first female artist to have 4 top 5 hits off of one album, she had had huge hits "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", "True Colors", "She Bop" , " Time after Time" just to name a few. Everyone from Katy Perry to Miles Davis has covered "Time After time" because Cyndi is an iconic artist. She won a Grammy for best new artist in 1984 and nominated for another THIS YEAR. Tennis blows anyway

  • worst anthem version ever.....bitch

  • @jufran29

    Missed Roseanne Barr did you?

  • @jufran29 are you kidding? you just called Cyndi Lauper a bitch? haha...you're just jealous because she has MILLIONS of dollars and you are probably a blue collar piece of shit marinating on your couch stinking and being swarmed by flies. Where were you during this anthem? parked in front of your TV no doubt. At least Cyndi Lauper has number one hits and 30 million albums sold under her belt, id like to see your fatass get up there and perform in front of that many pple. BTW Roseannes was worse.

  • Heartfelt-Thank you!

  • I've sung the National Anthem in public many times, and I've _never_ forgotten the words. If you're going to step out and be the voice for so many people you'd better darn well be prepared. That means dressing respectfully, singing up to tempo, singing the song "as written" and not trying to "make it your own," interpreting it correctly and DON'T FORGET THE WORDS. Hey, US Open, I'll do the song for 1/10th what you paid Cyndi and I'll have the audience cheering with patriotism afterward. Call me.

  • @SingerGuy59 Bravo! So have I. I'd call you.

  • @SingerGuy59 Who cares? Anthem or not it is just a song. USA is just a country like all the other countries, we are all one. She is Cyndi Lauper, she is very different. You DO get nervous even if you are super respectful, & if you knew her better she was very respectful and happy to be there. Also, u can mess up lyrics when a part is the same but different lyrics. NO one's perfect, she is human & an artist, it's not like she burned the flag, she did a mistake but did well, so it doesn't matter.

  • Comment removed

  • @SingerGuy59 Cyndi Lauper was prepared she said it was a very emotional time and she started thinking about 9/11 don't forget she was born and raised in New york and had a much closer view than most of us. Many people have forgotten the words including Christina most recently it doesn't mean they arent patriotic. Cyndi cared enough to be there and she gracefully finished even after her mistake my god she's human! You may not flub the words but I promise you Cyndi is a better vocalist. nice try.

  • @SingerGuy59 She's CYNDI LAUPER, she can dress however she likes National Anthem or not. Yeah she messed up the words It does seem kinda shitty but guess what? she cared enough to be there and she said that she was emotionally choked up because she was thinking about 9/11 she was born and raised in New York! You might know music but if you were so damned good then wheres your Grammy and MTV awards? Cyndi has them and shes sold over 30 million albums and has # 1hits. nice try ass!

  • I'd like to see any of you sing that song and remember all the words without it in front of you......she was much better than other celebs in the past, give the goddess a break you losers!

  • @rapunzell20 Then add this to the basic YouTube URL and see me "sing that song and remember all the words:" /watch?v=2mklMn-i1EY. I also have never been paid to sing. Cyndi gets at least scale, and probably much higher, to perform. It's her job. She is held to a higher standard as a result.

  • The problem is these singers changing the tune of the version we all learned in school to make it more "hip". They all seem to do it. Between being nervous and making it unique, you can lose your train of thought and make mistakes like she did. If she sang it the same way it's sung at every major league baseball game, I'm sure she'd get it right. That's simple. It gets more complicated when you make your own version - which I think is unnecessary. However, in this Idiocracy-like life we live in

  • @erreipt Never said I could, which is not the point. She's a professional singer. It's her job, and it's a simple song that every American knows since childhood and has heard countless times.

  • @mberke2 i didnt know you were't allowed stating your opinion if you couldnt do that talent you are judging.

and you are very right. singing if her job. she has been around for a very very long time< lol.

so for this to happen is unacceptable.

  • @tricia1964 VERY well said!!! She "fubbed" one word and did an otherwise amazing job! She was probably a nervous reck bc it was the national anthem but also bc it was for the 9/11 memorial... just leave her alone ppl, she's human.

  • @erreipt Thank you very much.

  • @stlntn4386 First of all, she messed up in one part of the song. Moreover, the fact that it was the 10th anniversary of 9/11 has nothing to do with being disrespectful. It was a mistake, not an intentional act. She was probably very nervous. And FYI, I do take pride in my country. My father was a veteran Marine in WWII and I have the flag from his funeral. And knowing my father, I don't think he would have crucified someone for making a mistake. You are no more patriotic than I am.

  • @ Tricia1964 I understand people make mistakes but it's not one thing she messed up there were multiple lines and being the national anthem on the tenth anniversary of 9/11 that crackhead deserves all the ridicule that comes her way, and for you why don't you take a little pride in your country if you are in fact an American

  • @stlntn4386 loser

  • @stlntn4386 CRACKHEAD really? Shes an AMERICAN success story! she was born and raised in New York! she has sold 30 MILLION albums and had several hits! shes a winner of a Grammy, Emmy, American Music awards and even an MTV award for best female video. she just opened in NY a housing development for homeless youth and this year she was nominated for her 18TH Grammy! graced the covers of everything from "Ms. to "Rolling Stone"doesnt sound like a crackead to America in the grand scheme of things!

  • Many of these comments show what is wrong with society today. She made a mistake singing the lyrics and people practically want her shot. Plus, many comments use vulgar and misogynistic language in referring to her which I personally resent as a woman. The people posting hateful comments about her mistake are the ones who are a disgrace, not Cyndi Lauper. I think many of you need some valium in your corn flakes. In fact, triple dose it.

  • @Tricia1964 you must be a very intelligent person; i wish you were my friend

  • what an idiot, sounds like shit and cant remember the words. i mean they couldnt get anyone else to do it.

  • @JerryNichols70 and you are? a loser!

  • @erreipt get a job

  • @JerryNichols70 Well lets see...She's an iconic pop singer with several top ten hits including Billboard number one hits, she won a Grammy for best new artist, an MTV award for best female video, 3 American Music Awards she's sold over 30 MILLION albums and "True Colors", "Time After Time" and "Girls just want to have fun are staple songs of an entire generation and to this YEAR STILL nominated for Grammys... Hmm who should they get? She was an obvious choice.

  • Hey assholes, show some fucking respect to woman whom messed up! Everybody screws up. Have you ever heard of nerves and emotions? I would probably get emotional and screw up as well. It is hard doing something like that when you are filled with memories from a tragic day in this countries history.

  • Maury still loves you.

  • I don't know. She flubbed a few words... years of drugs or just her accent & style?

But she sang it beautifully and with respect. A capella, too. Not easy.

    Compare with this:

    v=SkhbpeL-8sY

  • smoke another one dum ass

  • absolutely NO EXCUSE, for messing The Anthem up.... come on Cyndi... show some repect!

  • @paulatd23 She was showing respect BY BEING THERE! she is an iconic singer with plenty of top 10 hits and album sales and awards to show for it! She's still human. Did you ever think that nerves and emotions could have had something to do with it? not very patriotic of you to diss an American pop icon for flubbing a few lyrics. Come and talk to me after you've Won a grammy for best new artist an emmy and an mtv award without making any public mistakes.

  • it's just.. a song...

  • What is the guy in the background yelling? Fuck Cyndi Lauper...she's a has-been.

  • Wow we just watched this in music class today. Wow I can sing better than her and I ACTUALLY KNOW THE WORDS IN THE CORRECT ORDER!!!! Wow she shouldnt've gotten paid for this.

  • Wow, really? Chill the fuck out. So what, she messed up a few words. Not that big of a deal. She was nervous. You act as if she murdered someone... or launched a terrorist attack on us. Jesus Christ. You guys are so stuck up... let it go. IT'S JUST A SONG.

  • Wow MommaBear you're so smart……..tell me if you can tell me

In 1814 Francis Scott Key wrote a poem which would eventually become The Star Spangled Banner……name the poem?

Who composed the music and what was the original title of the composition ?

And lastly since you know so much……….there are three more verses………..do you know them?

You don't even know what a rampart is.

  • I love you Cyndi!

  • The Marines holding the Colors, had to stand there and endure this dumb Bitch, screw up what they serve to protect.

  • @thorsHammer430 Do you know the song?

  • Don't get me wrong, messing up the national anthem was stupid. Still, saying that this was a complete and total disgrace to the US is ignorant to me. She obviously was nervous, it's not like this is the first time this has happened. Messing up the song aside, she tried to sing the national anthem at the 9/11 memorial in memory of 9/11. I have respect for that.

  • @auburritoloveskh Do you know the song?

  • oh. my. god. I could do better than that... She butchered that all up!

  • Stop hatin'!! Even if anyone says bad reputation, I think that Cyndi was excellent.

CyndiLauper of U.S. Open September 11 was splendid.

    Anyone has the mistake.

East Japan great earthquake disaster. Cyndi Lauper does not go back to his/her own country,

    She helped Japan.

Cyndi Lauper is a hero in Japan.

I want to say to you.

Have the respect for the hero of the own country.

Japanese people are friends of Cyndi Lauper.

And the Japanese people support her.

  • This is worse than christina's!!

  • @kayliegh84 Bitch I want you to go out and sing the National Anthem.

  • Isn't she British?

  • Geez, fuck that damn anthem... she's not the first one fucking up the lyrics and she won't be the last one. At least she sang well.

  • how come a little kid can sing it perfectly but a GROWN women whose job is to sing CANT WTH

  • Go Cyndi...... good girl....

  • This is not a complicated nor difficult song to sing. Don't know why people think it is. It is very short, very familiar and sung in English. Can't get more simple than that.

  • @strumbo1955 A professional entertainer, who makes millions of dollars to do this should not forget the words the National Anthem. There's no excuse at all. It's a song that we learn from grade school and hear hundreds of times in a lifetime. Nobody needs to make a video of themselves singing it to prove that point. Just look at the many performers who do their job and get it right, douchebag.

  • Yes Thank You Cindy Lauper for F-ing up the National Anthem!

  • @kmd25 Thank you for fucking up the spelling of her name it's Cyndi not Cindy, either you know nothing about American pop culture or you simply cannot spell, or a combination of both.

  • wow people are ridiculous. im pretty sure cyndi lauper knows the words to the national anthem. its called pressure.

  • What's REALLY telling, is the tennis SNOBS attending, acted like they DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE.

  • @abcpc1 Like you haven't mess up in life. Oh, by the way. How is that baby you had when you was 13?

  • @abcpc1 Thanks for reminding me, been meaning to CHECK UP on YOU turd face!

  • It looks like she really had to pee.

  • Horrible !!! She fucked up!!!

  • Total disgrace and disrespect!!! If you don't know the words go home!

  • How do you go out and not know the words?

  • my 2 yr old can sing the anthem better than that..and she can barely speak. nobody was clapping for her, they were clapping for the MARINES!! and were cheering that she finished

  • @nathan210 Bullshit!

  • @nathan210 Well then..let's see if your 2 year old son can land himself on the cover of Rolling Stone, Newsweek and People all in the same year, Sell over 30 MILLION albums, win a grammy for Best New artist get 17 other Grammy nods, win an MTV award , 3 American Music awards, Have 3 Billboard #1 hits, have ten top 10 hits, Have a friggin Barbie made in his honor, win an Emmy. Prolly not gonna happen. Shes an AMERICAN success story! she made one mistake so shut the hell up you sound like an idiot

  • Dressing like an old hooker is one thing, but crapping up the National Anthem is totally unacceptable!

  • @mberke2 Big fukin deal!

  • @mberke2 Post a video of your own here and so we can shit all over it too...Fuckin hypocrite!

  • @mberke2 Take a chill pill. Were all here to remember 911, so shut up and respect what she did. She took the time to be there and that is good enough.

  • @mberke2 who the hell you think you are? can you sing?

  • @mberke2 Wow MommaBear you're so smart……..tell me if you can tell me

In 1814 Francis Scott Key wrote a poem which would eventually become The Star Spangled Banner……name the poem?

You don't even know what a rampart is.

  • @mberke2 Clearly you don't know anything about Lauper she inventing dressing "differently" her first album was titled "She's So Unusual" you know.. the album that sold OVER 16 MILLION copies and spawned #1 and Top 10 hits like "She Bop", "Time After Time" and "Girls Just Want to Have fun" ? she IS and WAS a huge fashion trend setter even Madonna has admitted to rippin off her looks, everyone from Lady GaGa to Katy perry loves her, apparently this" hooker" is more successful than your dumb ass!

  • I served a year in Vietnam so this **** can happen.

  • @NewsAndBull go die in vietnam.

  • @sopiya24 50,000 American men died for shits like you!

  • @NewsAndBull In that case mind your own business and don't go killing innocent civilians.

  • Where'd they dig her up from, I thought she was dead. After disgracing Our Song they need to put her back from where they found her.

  • @azne69 Love to have you post your rendition, so we can see just how much better you sing it!

  • @cooldt

Really? There are thousands if not a million in this world that could do better. I could, and I have a whole studio of students that could! There are just some things that you make sure you are prepared to sing and don't screw up. It really is disgraceful!

  • @madmirok what a disgrace thinking that your students whom are STUDENTS couldn't learn from an iconic performer like Cyndi Lauper! lets see just one of your students WRITE AND SING a classic like "Time After Time" and make it a #1 hit in 13 different countries! not too mention have several other hits & sell over 30 MILLION albums win Grammys and countless other awards! She CAN sing she's proved that to the world. She was nervous and emotional who wouldn't be? she is successful you arent period.

  • @CastleChilll You assume that because I do not approve of her performance that I do not like her music and that I do not recognize her accomplishments. You are very wrong. Nor am I comparing anyone's song writing skills. Of course she is a great singer. If there were ever a day to brush up on the lyrics of the Star-Spangled Banner, the tenth anniversary of 9/11 is probably that day. The only disgrace is that it is inexcusable! She’s a seasoned, professional singer/performer.

  • @cooldt You said it!

  • @azne69 She didn't disgrace the song. It's an old antiquated song that needs to be updated. You disgrace the song by your big mouth! You sing the fuken song and post it on here so we can laugh our asses off! Douchebag!!!

  • @strumbo1955 It is not about "how good" she sang it or who can sing it better. It is about not remembering the words! There is no excuse to forget the words. Also, it is not the fuken song, it is the national anthem. The fuken song is sung by those pin heads who think Jersey Shore is entertainment.

  • @jasonejohnson31 Haha! So true!

  • she is singging the wrong words!!!!!!

  • @H3lloKittyRoxMiiSox9 Read the fucking head line, we know
