dog hair is 80% warmer than sheep wool if u had one made out of dog hair it would be way to warm to wear, unless u like live in the arctic and only wore that lol

really when you think about it, what's so gross? it's washed and no different than sheep or feathers, exept the fact dogs eat meat and are commonly used as pets.

if it's washed first it should cause no alergies, it is the dander or skin of the animal that causes alergies.

The allergies you get is not from the hair it's self. But rather the oil and dander from the dogs skin that you're allergic to. Once washed it wont cause any allergic reaction.
