The SCA people are freaks. This country is being invaded by the Third World and these nerds can do nothing but dress up in costumes. We need real warriors, not make-believe ones.

I really am not trying to be ignorant or anything like that.. Just very curious.. They should do a study. Because every nerd i know is ugly (no offense) and there's nothing wrong with being a nerd... i can be nerdy sometimes...... Sorry if i came off as judgmental.. or an asshole.. Just really am curious as to why they are always ugly people, and if being ugly is what makes them nerds.... I have never met a cute nerd before lol...
Not all 'nerds' are ugly, nor are all 'nerds' intrested in the SCA or other re-enactment groups, and finally, not all 'cool' people are against the SCA or other re-enactment groups, many people who you would consider 'cool' could actually be re-enactors of a form.
Many people gain an interest in history through school, thus why the people who listen more (those who you would call 'nerds')are more likely to move on to activities.

nice footage. i am a member of the barony of lionsgate in tir righ, and we just had our war this past weekend. there if footage of the war and site if you look under clinton war 2007 and look for the one by warderseeker. it was weel done as well, with aerial footage of the site.
