@hsk555000 mustang dynos are known to be called heartbreak dynos.... they show REAL WORLD power, adding in wind resistance, weight, climate change...... a car tuned on a mustang is more perfectly tuned, than some car dynoed on a dynojet with a correction factor, also known as the hopes and dreams dyno.

take your STi, with no changes, on a dynojet, and you'll be closer, or over 500hp.

@hsk555000 dont quote me on this but everyone i know thats had mustang dyno tune the numbers were off by roughly 40hp...if you have a cobb access port id try to test it with that...theyre pretty accurate...just make sure you know the weight of your car

yeah a stock sti generally runs at about 230 whp on a mustang dyno. I did a 20g8cm turbo on my05 sti with minimal supporting mods and I made 330whp/350tq on the mustang dyno.

And racing in general whether it's drag racing or road racing you are risking breaking something! And the dyno they use has no correction factor so sdisthinter has no clue what he is talking about. And running pump gas and alcohol is safe and it makes a crazy amount of power. This car could easily hit 520whp with a 35R and meth injection.

When you have AWD it GRIPS the hell out of the road and since there is all grip and no slip of the tires it creates more strain on the drive train and for WRX/STi the weakest link is the gears. The STi gears are very stout but even dumping the clutch with PPG straight cuts they will break eventually. No matter what you drive it's not a matter of if it breaks but when. I don't care what you drive everything has it's breaking point.
