As with all martial arts, espcially the ones that use joint locks and body throws/take downs, the student MUST learn to not resist, to blend with the throw and to absorb the energy of a technique.
Clearly, resisting a kotegaeshi is not recommended, and if done with vigor, a resisted throw could easily break wrist, elbow, or result in concussions.

yoahinkan is proly the most clearly structured style in aikido. all their beginners gain competancy in the basics very quickly. sooo cool
