  • nice. but curious...did you use multiple camers. if so, how many and how expensive?

  • Ahahahahhaha welldone it has a great look. Congrats!

  • This is so funny!

  • @HelenaBrooks Hi, loved your film! I was wondering, how much time did the shooting take? I'm asking because I'm planing on filming a short with a very similar style (lots of camera movements and little sequences ilustrating what the narrator says) for a class, but I think I'll only have like two or three days for it, so I'm trying to write the screenplay with that in mind.

  • @BCanda16 Thanks, it was shot on ARRI Super 16

  • Hi! Loved your short film, it has got to be in the top 3 live-action short films I have ever seen. I've been writing my own thing and I'm considering sending it to Cannes, but If I'm not mistaken, they ask for a digital master or a 35mm print and I don't have enough money to get the print. I could send it out in a blu-ray, dvd, cassette, VHS or any other format but...so I wanted to know, did you have to get the 35mm print after you got your confirmation?!

    Thank you!

  • @Orlando136 Thanks Orlando, that's right, you only need to transfer it to 35mm print once you've been accepted to the festival. I'm pretty sure you can just send it on DVD for initial submission. H

  • His mother... She's... Well... Special...

  • Aww. Poor Billy (Clive). Why did his mother need to traumatize him by humiliating him his whole life? I'm afraid Clive is too unspecial to be considered "blissfully normal." :( Anyway, Brilliant short story and interesting plot! :)

All the music was composed by Justyn Pilbrow, except 'Come dance all around the world' by Blerta.

  • trust 'a woman' to show him the gift of life - why couldn't someone slip some acid in his tea - so predictable

I did like the song at the moment his mother showing him on a street (0:58)! does anybody know who is singing? :-)

  • @maroonapple thanks for your feedback. the song in that scene is by NZ band Blerta and it's called 'Come dance all around the world'. It's about 20 years old.

    thanks

  • I loved, specially the part where he differenciated people by their shoes

    pretty clever!

  • grandioso, quien hizo la musica..es geniail!!!!!

  • Wonderful film,I like the character development in the film, the fact that his childhood is affecting his adulthood and also how he is trying to break open from his shell but can't,the movie tells me that life is a cycle you begin and end at the same point.

  • very nice film

hve a festival coming up called sixteen:nine international film festival for short movies!
