I guess it's the kind of subject that takes a lot of thought. Sure, lots of stuff in Genesis might not make sence. But then again, I'm not going to point fingers at religions that teach love and caring and etc.
Discluding some ass hole christianity religions that you see in "Jesus Camp" and etc. Bloody people making a bad steriotype.
I wouldn't so much as blame christianity or catholicism. I blame people. Cause there just has to be sensable, intelligent people out there who are religious.
1.51 was not really accurate since god did not "place" a snake and told her what to do but Satan or rather Mephistopheles or Lucifer came to the garden in the form of a snake to convince them to eat.
though this only enhances the argument of the snake being punished for doing nothing ^^ since satan only used her image to hide himself.
Genesis actually never says anything about satan.Thats a character that is introduced much laterin the Bible. Also satan and Lucifer are different characters, but to be fair to your point, modern christians do teach that the snake is satan and that satan and Lucifer are the same guy.
For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son... to just one tiny little desert region of the world... that whosoever be among the lucky inhabitants to live in this tiny desert region (and not be born during the preceding 100,000 years) and get the Good News and believe in him... shall not perish but have everlasting life. Amen.
I had almost given up on you as far as making vids. Glad to see you back. Keep up the good fight. Issac Asimov did quite the number on the bible if you haven't read it. Check it out!
the world is older than 100,000 years.
