He had previously been a crooked police man who was the recipient of multiple race-related internal affairs complaints. Jamal is innocent, even if he did fatally shoot the cop who was brutally assaulting his brother. The killing was a justifiable homicide. Nobody wants innocent cops to be killed, but this cop was not innocent. He had been complained about several times by blacks for violating their Constitutional rights, a claim that has circulated for 31 years but has never been refuted by the cops, which is an admission by default.
