  • Thank you mama, Ladan and Shiva? Shiva as in the creator and destroyer of the Universe?

  • @GirlofanAlchemist123 Perhaps a relatives name? Juuuust putting that out there. : P

  • HEY!!! This is NOT a State of Cali issue!! It is a UNIVERSITY leadership issue!! The University can finance itself to keep tuition in check! What strategies are the CSU leadership doing to LEVERAGE the over $1B in stocks, bonds and securities!?!

  • This is all manipulation. Reduce the government and let us keep our taxes. I would rather donate to CSUN than give it to Sacramento. Once our money goes up north, we're lucky if 2% comes back to fund our needs. All politicians are corrupt and they focus only on their salaries and getting reelected. They are our representatives, and we are the bosses. Lets demand reduction of officials, cap their pay, and remind them that civil servants!

  • Chevron is laying off 925 people in the San Francisco Bay Area, after the 1,000 jobs already lost at the Richmond Refinery due to radical enviro organizations. Corporations and middle class small businesses are fleeing Calif because it is hostile to business and to white people. The rich elite in Hollywood will stay, to program your lemming brains. Calif people, when will you wake up?

  • Ammunition69 wrote, "Wrongly blaming Arnold when it's the Democrats in the legislature who have run up the deficit is a naive position to take." He is right on. I lived in Calif for 35 years and watched it go straight down, due largely to the Demo-Socialist state legislature, which has no conception of fiscal responsibility. This legislature is a NATIONAL DISGRACE. "Sin Verquenza" in your local language. We don't want Calif in the US--Please secede.

  • I liked this video! True This! Check my video out and feel free to elaborate on your experiences!

maybe the tax breaks helped companies avoid some of the massive lay-offs we have seen in Calif. Unemployment is over 12% now in Calif, mainly because of teh high tax rates and draconian environmental laws passed here.

  • I hope the graduates there are smart enough to fix this problem.

  • communications at csun lol... thats when u know uve made it in life :)

  • What sucks the most...right now i've just begun my masters degree at my CSU...not only am i paying 1000 dollars more, because of the fee increase, we now have a unit cap for the semester...So i'm paying 2800 bucks for 12 stinking units? I think this is crap...This issue needs to be resolved...and it needs to be now!

  • I agree that there needs to be reform with where the cuts are coming from but I do not believe cutting the prison system is the answer either. I have a relative that works in the prison system so maybe this is a little bias. Programs inside the prison system should be cut, they receive free education inside the prison which should not happen and some other benefits where it makes it sound like prison is better but the people that work there are getting the cuts and that needs to change too

  • Excellent video. It puts a face and voice to the issues students, faculty and staff face because of the budget crises. Is anyone listening?

  • thank u for doing this video i will show as many as i can. this is my school and i feel bad for those who did not get the classes they needed yet still payed money

  • Well done, Laleh, thank you! - Prof. Charles Hatfield

  • Why have we been so betrayed by our government?

  • Governator, YOU LIE!

  • Laleh, I'm noticing the facts from 2:19 to 2:25. Don't you find it interesting that as public education gets cut, funding for prisons goes up? Hmmm, I wonder why, considering how a fair number of CSU students come from working-class/lower class backgrounds and without education would most likely end up in prison

If you want a good insight as to why all of this shit is happening, I suggest reading the works of Karl Marx. I know that stuff was written 150 years ago, but the facts remain the same.

  • Also notice how big companies got huge tax breaks in California when public ed. was being cut. That should seriously make people think.

Even if socialism/communism isn't your cup of tea, it's always good knowing how the system works and why the lower classes always end up being screwed over. See who has the most influence over government policy (hint: big corporations) - it will open your eyes pretty wide!
