I've attended just such a M'3laama (معلامه)(Qur'anic school).. with those boards to begin with... to learn the alphabet and Juz'a Amma (The last thirthieth section of the Qur'an)... And then proceeding to the "Khitma" or "Al Jame3"... The Book-form of the Qur'an.
