@DoctorReflux Honestly, the only reason anyone would EVER love Urkel as Sonic is because of nostalgia reasons.

I watch the cartoons now, being 21 and growing up on the show, and honestly I find his uber derpy as you said. lol The voice is too nasally... they should've had a different voice actor. I only like him for nostalgia reasons and even as a kid thought Sonic was a dork because he was nasally-sounding.

Hollywood just makes the idea, makes it flashy, slaps on a trademark name on the product and throws it to the wolves. Like Final Fantasy Spirits Within. Final Fantasy followers hated the movie (Not all, but a lot of them), while people who never played any final fantasy game, may have found it somewhat enjoyable
