  • You appreciate this one the more you listen to it. She's very emotive and sincere without sounding melodramatic. My goodness! Just listen at 2:03!

  • This track is about as close to perfection as it gets.

  • Probably the best album she made....accredited Top 10 in "Rolling Stones" coolest records ever. I think so too! Thanks for posting

  • Funny because this record flopped in sales during its release, yet today available on vinyl in the audiophile market. This has to be one of the most well balanced albums, beautiful from beginning to end. don't matter what mood I'm in this album always does it for me.

  • Too right....every single track on Dusty In Memphis is a gem. Magnificent work.

  • Is Dusty in the Rock and Roll hall of fame.?.If not let the campaign begin at once!

  • Glad to say Dusty IS in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!

  • Elton John pressed on puttting her in the Hall of fame, citing the greatest voice of all time, what a nice guy.

  • And she deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame too! So glad Elton (and so many other people I'm sure) realised that! She was and still is brilliant! : )

  • Too bad she died before she could accept the honor. She was hoping make the ceremony, but she lost her battle with breast cancer a few months before the ceremony.

  • Dusty, theres no fear of that love, you'll never be forgotten, not while ever theres a human presence on earth.

    God Bless lass Ray♥ X X X

  • Barbara Lewis did the original version of this tune

  • who knows what 60,s group remade this song? I know that it was because my brothers taped it reel to reel at that time. Thanks for the help TR

  • I only know of Barbara Lewis covering it. I love this song! The backing vocals have a Motown feel to them, especially with the oo-oo's, sort of like the Supremes' "Come See About Me." I've always wondered why Mary Wilson never did any of Dusty's songs. I think their timbres are similar.

  • GEM!
