Love the syncopation at 1:51. Also, the bass line sounds somewhat like a primitive version of The Burning Spear.

Very cool!! It does sound slightly reminiscent to their first ep aside from ann on keyboard of course. Did they just have this one track on the compilation? Thanks for sharing!

@sonicboy19 As far as I know, SY performed about four songs on the Noise Fest, but only one of them was included on this compilation. On their official website this track is entitled "Noisefest #3" (see Sonic Youth songs database), but I don't know were to find three other songs.

@sonicboy19 The keyboard is Anne DeMarinis. She was only in the band for a year. There was 3 noisefests.
