We saw her in late August 2011 at the Berkeley Rep where she presented Let Me Down Easy. The presentation was powerful and moving. We want to see more of her work. The house was packed and when it was over there was silence for a few moments before the applause began. She is amazing.

Five stars once again one of the sparkling talented people who brings such great energy to all these characters. I first saw her in the one about the LA riots. I'm inspired today. Human touch and reaction, the negative imagination, human rights and justice, and toughness.

Well put. I love how she tricks the audience into thinking what she does is easy, how she legitimately makes you believe each character is a real person and almost like there is no Anna Deavere Smith. I just saw Let Me Down Easy, and it was perfection.
