  • nice lovley to see all the steam thx look forward to visiting my grandparents in the ny dales thx

  • It's very interesting to see a Schools and a 7F hard at work in territory about as far away from where they were designed for as you can get. Although I suppose an engine designed for the S&D would feel at home in some ways on the NYMR.

Actually, i expect it would probably feel more at home than an A4. (Red faced driver at 5:03.)

  • You are probably right about the 7F, if not the Schools.

  • Not Bad Would be better without Repton!

  • Great video and wonderful light and scenery!

  • Glad you enjoyed it. A beautiful part of the country.

  • Thank yo Mike. This video captures the atmosphere of yesteryears railways so brilliantly. Steam trains in stunning scenery. This is England at its bes. Thanks again. Guy

  • Thanks.

Unfortunately despite our memories it has always rained a lot here...which is why it is so green!

  • A delight to watch, super audio and video, Ahh!! the England I remember!!! Enjoyed it very much.. Halifax Canada

Bet you don't remember those wet or foggy days when things looked so miserable!

  • brilliant shots well done its also my favourite railway

  • Thanks. It was a good day. They had to work hard and the exhaust was pushed high into the sky.

  • My favourite line Mike, and you've caught that stunning Autumn foliage brilliantly, an other excellent production from start to finish...5* Bob

  • Thanks Bob

Still some way to go for the foliage, I think. A very pleasant day all round.
