  • @ConservativeRev what r u talkin about? Miami runs it all the time still

  • The wildcat thing was about a one year fad, no NFL team runs it anymore. Still works in college though.

  • DAVID LEE + OLE MISS= SEC CHAMPIONSHIP. LEE TO OLE MISS

  • @Darealrebz4life HAHAHAHA Lee didnt even take Arkansas to the SEC championship game when he was at Arkansas, all while he had DMAC, Felix and an underappreciated Peyton Hillis, always the talenst of WR Marcus Monk. What the hell is going to do with Ole Miss? You got a cracked Nutt and problem children running wild and worthless; and I'm being humble. Furthermore it was Gus Malzahn that coordinated Arkansas into the SEC title when Nutt and Broyles messed that all up. Good luck in that SEC West!!!

  • This fuckin coach don't kno wat he's talking about. He copied those plays out of Malzahn's playbook and the other asst coach went to miami and used it with rbrown who also coached with the hogs for malzahn

  • @AuburnBoi4Lyfe , this coach (David Lee) is the coach that ran the wildcat at Miami, lol

  • @AuburnBoi4Lyfe , this coach (David Lee) is the coach that ran the wildcat at Miami, lol. BTW the Wildcat is the single wing and was being run before the forward pass was invented, Malzahn, while a great coach, did not invent this offense.

  • @raz4back NEITHER DAVID LEE NOR MALZAHN INVENT THE WILDCAT. BUT MALZAHN HAD SOME WHAT RE-INVENTED IT AT ARKANSAS. LEE WORKED FOR MALZAHN AS ONE OF HIS ASSISTANTS. THEN WHEN MALZAHN LEFT FOR TULSA, LEE USED THE WILDCAT WITH MIA AFTER GUS HAD INSTALLED IT AT ARKANSAS.....NEITHER INVENTED...BUT MALZAHN BROUGHT IT BACK AND IT MADE AN IMPACT, SO THAT'S WHEN LEE USED COPIED IT AND USED IT WITH MIA.....AND I SEEN A LOT OF WILDCAT FORMATION WITH CAM NEWTON INSTEAD OF A RB.....

  • So why would Arkansas call it the WildHOG offense ?!?!?!?

  • This coach acts like he invented the Wildcat offense! He is the reason Nutt is no longer here and Gus is in Auburn! Nutt blew it by hiring this guy! If he stayed with Gus they may still be around but I'm happy with Bobby Petrino! I'm glad they are gone!! Nutt could not face the fact that Gus was a better play caller!! That is not an opinion, a fact!! Gus might make what Nutt makes now and Nutt is on his way out without a job soon! We told you ole miss!

  • @anrew1997 Raiders, Lions, Bengals, clevland, KC, Rams = end of carrer. But yea look who he had at QB for a long time... JaMarcus Russel who cant throw or read defense.

  • @BF1 I see what you mean, but KC, Cinci or St Louis wouldn't be end of career. He would've started off with power back compliments, quarterbacks who could at least TRY to complete a pass, more creative offenses and better coaching that would not require him to be the "man", which is what people have expected out of him. Lets face it though, he is a slightly tougher, slightly worse at receiving version of Reggie Bush.

  • nice block 7; 1:35

  • Rex Burkhead is going to rock in this offense.

  • Comment removed

  • Good video on the Wildcat. Explains it pretty good. Also check out "U-Bacon" if you get a chance - it's a lot like the "Power" version of the Wildcat.

  • wildcat is the trickyest play

  • @FierceSound It's not a play, it's a formation

  • David Lee for Raiders next Head Coach!!! get it done Al...

  • check my video out. No one has seen my talent since Barry Sanders

  • 0:39 wtf lol looked like he dug a hole into space

  • Such an amazing college player. Unfortunately, NFL players tend to be a little bigger, heavier and stronger than most NCAA players. It's harder to run them over like Dmac is used to doing. I think we'll see Jones outperform Dmac in the pros. I just hope they can both keep from getting hurt too much more.

  • dmac has all the tools and ability to be the best rb in history. nt much anyone could do in oakland.

  • have u heard of the best corner in the game retard !!!we got nnamdi asomugha!! Mr. SHUTDOWN..Mr.Dontthrowmyway!!!

  • plus he plays for the raiders and he'll get no help from them

  • Rather unfortunate, no?

  • @pyrobryan what about that game against the broncos???

  • @OfficialStephenNiday It was niiiiiiice.

  • @pyrobryan lol did u see him truck that 1 guy like 1 guy during the bronco's game like 2 weeks ago. the pro's did not stop him. so far this is the best year he has had with the raiders watch and u will see him in the pro-bowl

  • @idontnoapassword I'm crossing my fingers. Hopefully he stays healthy long enough to turn his recent success in to a good season.

  • @pyrobryan i'm an arkansas fan thru and thru.. i would love to see dmac, felix, and hillis have great careers. but so far this season felix hasn't been gettin the carries and the cowboys as a whole have just about gave up on the season. dmac and hillis are having break-out seasons.

  • @tboneal83 Yea, I was pumped to see Hillis tearing it up against NE yesterday. It was nice to hear the announcers giving him praise. I don't know what's going on over in Dallas, but I'm sure we'll see some restructuring in the chain of command before too long. Hopefully when the dust settles they'll actually be able to put a team on the field, and Felix will be part of the team. I will gladly eat my words if Dmac keeps it up. In fact, I look forward to it.

  • @pyrobryan good call idiot

  • @pyrobryan ...good call...nailed it.

  • Except the mighty the Bears offense which beat you last week... hahaha. Hind sight's a bitch.

  • For those of you unaware, the inovator of the "Wildcat" offense is long time double wing coach Hugh Wyatt. Originally the fullback and quarter back would be three yards from the center, nearly foot to foot. just like its counterpart, the wildcat you see today was still direct snap back then. but the name came from Wyatts Washington come back team, the La Center Wildcats. traps, powers, counters, even the wedge was ran from it...now its so flushed out its not the pure wildcat.

  • Ronnie Brown needs to have a talk with McFadden about learning to read the defense better because that's the only weak point in the Dolphin's Wildcat offense. Ronnie is going to run the play that's called every time. McFadden reads the defense a little more.

  • the raiders tried running the wildcat last year and had no success..ronnie brown mashed up the patriots with the wildcat because david lee was calling the plays for the dolphins

  • I agree but the advantage of the wildcat comes when the RB/QB is able to make reads on the fly. There are many examples of times when Ronnie should have given the ball to Ricky but he pulled and got tackled quick because the end didn't pursue Ricky. There are also examples in the reverse of that. Plus Ronnie>McFadden which is why the dolphin's had more success ;)

  • ronnie never ran the spread in college, it was a pro style offense at auburn, thats why he has trouble making quick decisions on the fly..but what you said about ronnie brown being better than Mcfadden is laughable, mcfadden would eat ronnie brown's food anyday

  • I know he didn't run it in college which is why I originally said Brown needs to talk to McFadden and work on making those on the fly reads. I know why he doesn't make those quick decision I was saying he needs to work on that, only way to get better is to work at it. McFadden might eat Brown's food but he'd be doing it on the sideline while Brown was in the game. Ronnie Brown is much more experienced and is all around a better running back than McFadden is.

  • of course brown has more experience than mcfadden, he's been in the NFL longer..but mcfadden will make it as a starter eventually and will prove himself to be a better back,,he's faster and has more agility than brown,,plus remember that mcfadden plays on a team run by a doofus who won't do anything to upgrade the o-line whereas brown plays on a team run by a genius in parcells

  • I disagree, I think we must agree to disagree on this topic.

  • rofl i agree

  • Its kind of easier to read a college D, compared to an NFL defense. It will be tougher now, since d coordinators have it on tape now

  • That's definitely true!

  • imma die hard raiders fan

they def. need to run the wildcat with the weapons we have in the back ....plus we will be adding a nice WR to the squad...lets go raiders...USE WHAT YOU HAVE TO THE FULLEST AND GET BACK ON THE WINNING SIDE !!!

  • I believe the Raiders did clean house as far as coaches accept for Cable who ever decided to start Jusin who ? Fargas over Darren Run DMC McFadden should have gotten' fired !

  • I dont think The Raiders ran these plays at all in 08' with mcfadden that offensive coordinator should get fired !

  • I hear ya. It makes no sense...

The Raiders have a fairly athletic QB, three extremely good RBs, decent speed at Receiver..

Everything you need to run the wildcat, including the play it was brought out of retirement for :P

  • *player

  • this guy #5 is crazy he can do anything

  • Yea his nmae is...DARREN MCFADDEN!!! THE MAN!!!

  • Gus Malzahn

  • Omg....it's called the wild hog formation!!! lol damn dolphins effed up the name

Its like the satue of liberty but a little better

  • LOL... It clear that you don't know too much about the offense. The reason why it was called the "wild hog" because the the Razorbacks are pigs/hogs so really the Dolphins didn't mess anything up.

Also, this type of offense has been around for ages and was very popular in the early years of football as the quarterback was counted on as the do-it-all type of person and this offense allows for that.

Basically, this is nothing new. Just a new wrinkle some teams are putting in.

  • OOOOO...Dude I know why it's called the 'Wild Hog" Formation I've been a fan of them since I was born (even tho we suck now) And I know that this type of formation has been around foe a long while...It's just that Arkansas has been well known to use it a little more now aday's than the Old school teams back in the day...

  • We were running this "wildcat" offense long before it was popular. IT's a single wing

  • The Raiders need to get McFadden the ball like yesterday.

  • Lol my high school runs this formation i used it when i was there xD

  • really what happend to the formation during the play

  • we would always line up more guys where less defenders were and then we would run the ball in that direction so we would always get like 5+ yards average i was the guard so if there were more ppl on the left i would switch to left or vice versa

  • thanks 2 dis foo da dolphins are back niggaaahhh...

  • Now in English, please. "Foo".

  • this formation kept houston nutt a job

  • i just got running back on my pee wee team any help will do

  • I WILL BE STEALING THIS !

  • wildcat!

  • kinda ol lol

  • Gus Malzahn > david lee

  • AMEN!!!!!
