Humanist Ceremony - what the ceremony represents

I'm stunned Humanist weddings are not recognised in England but *religious* ones are!! Which religions? Can you just invent one?

In the Netherlands NO religious wedding counts, ONLY the civil one. You MUST be married at a town hall. Then you can dance round a mulberry bush or swing from chandeliers with "Spaghetti!" tattooed on your buttocks if you want. E.g. Catholics often do the civil one in the morning and a big afternoon Church do.

This is fair and eliminates religious privelege

I disagree with this wedding bcoz first of all im christian n i fink God binds a man and woman 2gether n a weddin ceremony should be set in a church...Gods holy house on earth....I knoe u might find dis.....ermmm shuld i say stupid buh it God who even maade u n knew u b4 u was born.

Ok, well if 'god' exists, and his love is unconditional - then the fact that this couple are clearing happy living their lives together should be enough. You are entitled to your opinion of course - but I don't see how being a Christian gives you the right to tell me what I, or this couple for that matter is right or wrong.
