  • bit of a mismatch of musicians

  • Does anyone have the tabs for these chords? The sites don't have them like this.

  • Great collection these guys have a amazing catalogue between them thanks for the upload

  • This is REAL music..and talent.

One man and a guitar..none of your lady gaga bullshit.

Theres one difference between the "artists" of today and these people..and its these people have a fucking talent..while the rest of your "justin gaga gomez montanas" are sad massed produced shit for a generation who wouldnt know real music if it fell on the fucking heads from an airplane.

Its sad that for the kids of today these genius are just history on the covers of dirty LP's you find in junk sales

  • Man I wish I could have seen this show live.

  • Eric did it better.

  • The Pretenders did a good cover on this song.

  • I could easily see Neil Finn writing this song.

  • brilliant..thank you

  • what a show those folks witnessed...

  • Pretty damn good. In ancient times when Capitol Radio was a power in the town this song was regularly voted listeners' best-ever song. Of course, they were wrong. Yet it's a very original piece of work, and beautifully performed here.

  • I would have loved to have seen this live...saw him perform this witih his band in Dublin November 2007 and it was just as magic!

  • Gouldman/Stewart & Godley/Creme .... perfect combinations.

    Genius!

  • I'm not sure why, but I wasn't expecting this to be good at all. I stand corrected. Nice :-)

  • Bloody hell, what a line up.

  • ??? of key several times......hmm

  • Comment removed

  • shit..ben elton sings? who knew.

  • @winterlandboy

Made me laugh out loud. Nice one.

  • harmonys love 'em

  • was unexpected, i thought that gg didint sing lead on vis 1, sonded ok though, false was good, yeah v harmonies not so good, was great song from 10cc, cheers

  • @richtensail Eric Stewart sang the lead on the original recording; the lyrics are all his too.

  • how difficult is this to sing

    27 May 1958 neil finn

    29 January 1964 roddy frame

    10 May 1946 Graham Gouldman

  • try writing it or first try singing i wish you luck

  • That was just fuckin' class. Anyone who disses this at all....try fuckin' writing it. Classic stuff Gouldman son!

  • wow, "Dentists against 10cc" are at it again!

  • Go brush you're stinking yellow teeth 10cc

  • cool

  • it is a band song, but this is 3 guys with acoustic guitars, in this context, it's as good as it gets, maybe a bit more harmony, but it sounds good enough for me

  • good effort but fails on so many counts for me - its a band song with stewart as the singer - and a tape on the backing vocals!

  • Lovely.

  • I agree. Graham's vocals are pitch perfect but the backing vocalists are crap.

  • Nice. Brings back memories....

  • He did a good job singing this too.wow

  • Super unexpected! This is one of my all-time favorite songs and this performance is a very interesting adaptation of the original. Amazing that GG can still do falsetto! Fabulous stuff.

  • that's not falsetto

  • @drbrookman

Actually , It's Neil doing the falsetto. Brilliant all the same

  • Disapointing that Neil and Roddy didn't do the 'baahdap bah' backing harmonies. A by the whisker missed moment of musical greatness I think.

  • I agree. At the very least, harmonies would have sounded great on the "it's because" part. I'm no vocalist, so someone can straighten me out if I'm wrong about this, but couldn't Frame and Finn have successfully added some "ahhs" during the verses? Nevertheless, I enjoyed this very much, and GG sounded great!

  • Mmmmmm. Excellent.

  • unusually skilled...in EVERY musical aspect... I knowssss

  • Great performance of a great song!

  • this is ace what chords does he use to play it?

  • Different, but nice. They were an excellent live band.

  • very low class of you

  • aww shucks thanks, send me a pm :)

  • very very England tradition, I like this song, Woooooooow, very sensitive,

    haunting, woooooooooooow

i am back at those 70s

  • I love this song

  • I love you

  • great one of the best songs of all time Brings back memeories Thanks for sharing this!

  • Everyone has there own special memories of this great song,........

  • The original has a very haunting and astral quality to it ... much like Alan Parsons "Time"

  • wonderful, one of the best songs of the pop era, and this version can match the original one, goosebumps :-)

  • Favorite song of ALL time! Thank you for the beautiful version of it!

  • when forces collides...

  • A beautiful song. I like the acoustic version, singing is a bit shaky, but matches the song somehow :-).. found the way into my favourites.

  • Nice acoustic version, I prefer the original with Stewart on the lead vocals, but this isn't bad.

  • I agree - Eric Stewart wrote the lyrics and no-one else can sing them with the same meaning as Eric.

  • Well done Graham for keeping 10 CC's musical legacy alive

  • Excellent,never seen it done acoustically before,cheers

  • me quedo con el im not in love de charly garcia...

  • remember this show well, particualy this episode, neil finn doing" fall at your feet " with a roddy frame guitar solo was fantastic would love to see that agian
