If it requires a proof for u to believe then God won't show it because it wouldn't be faith. As a Christian, I strongly encourage non-believers to accept God because it is our job to accomplish His greatest commision which is to go and make disciples.

fulsala, many religious people don't keep religion to themselves because they believe unbelievers are suffering. I know they can come across to you offensively, but there is no ill intention deep down in many cases. I was kind of intrigued by your comment about "show me God and I'll believe.." Of course, no one can show you God, but people have conscience. Many people became religious for this question that cannot be answered. Where did my conscience come from?

Proof? If you need proof to believe everything than that is just dumb. It's like math, there are something that you can't prove and there are something that you could prove.

I disagree tjdgus1993. I like to have prove for things before putting them as facts. Until there is prove of the existence (or non-existance)of a God, no one can prove or deny its existence.Hence I consider the existence of God to just be a "theory". I'm not trying to sound clever either, it's just my honest opinion. A major reason why I don't believe in the Christian God is cause there's so many other Gods I could believe in,and yet none have enough evidence of their existence.

I know it's hard to believe in something you can't see or hear. But on the other side, it's close minded to say that things you can't see do not exist. I do not really care if you believe or not, but what I do wanna say that if there is a God, and you don't believe in him, you will go to hell when you die. I am 21 years old and have been a christian for 19 years. I blindly let my parents who are practicing Christians influence my decision. Had I been brought into this world in a Muslim family, I would be praising Allah(same with other religions)

However, I do not doubt the existence of Jesus because many books have referenced the prophet Jesus. I will acknowlege that evidence, which is a historical account that can be falliable, but not wholly buy into the Christian religion.

A small case would be something like mormons....are they really christians? they call themselves christians yet they include their own books. But there are many followers and through time...this small minority would one day be a full fledged religion.

An extreme case would be a religion based on the flying purple monster....if people gather around and say this is truth.....perhaps in a couple thousand years it will be an actual religion.
