Beatrice was a pioneer in female and mixed wrestling. Her skill was limited, she was smaller than the avarage girls of today, she tought by herself to wrestle because there where no other lady wrestler in Belgium and very few in Europe. But she paved the way for a generation of gladiatrices ad sportwomen, and watching her matches is still exciting. When you saw her, think she is the equivalent of the Wimbledon tennis player of 1910: an hero of the beginning of a gloriuos sport.
Beatrice Goffin was defeated several times by Maggie from Festelle english club, in her own club and during private fights.
Beatrice was defeated by other girls wrestlers. she always admitted, during her pro career, she was not invincible. The only American woman wrestler who beated Beatrice was famous Judell Dulong with a boston crab. Beatrice won over Ali Day, an other famous US woman wrestler, 2 submissions to 1 and the only submission won by Ali over Beatrice was also by boston crab!

All expenses paid $5,000 for each with a $2,500 extra to the winner and 10% and 20% of any video revenue. Not bad for the mid '80's. Beatrice had never backed down from a challenge and in studying Judell's tapes saw a formidable opponent but also saw someone who'd never been pushed, through no fault of her own facing inferior opposition

@Tremills9971 I confirm defeats of Béatrice Goffin against Maggie from WCS, club of Festelle Video . At the end of the 80's and in the 90's, I bought to Béatrice several VHS produced by herself of her figths in her club named The Rochefortoises women wrestlers and also at her own home. So, I possess VHS of her defeats against Maggie who had also a very good level but also who seemed heavier than Béatrice. If you send me others messages about Béatrice, I shall answer always with pleasure.
There are so few Bea clips on YT. She was something special - tenacious, tough, aggressive. She fought anyone - I saw a picture of her locking up against Tigra; Tigra was a good six inches taller.
True... Most let the smaller girl get them in a holds and the over power them to get out and sap them of energy. Love to see a girl with such good skill that they can over come the other girls unnatural power. Xana is a fighter that I really liked and now do not due to her buildup. She went from toned to riped.
There are some women who combine both strength and sill - Christine Marshall and ziggy are two who come to mind. Ziggy and Bea Goffin have defeated numerous FBBs.
@PogoMorgan I remember I brought up Tigra's loss to Beatrice in another Youtube vid and this Tigra fan claimed that the match was edited to delete all of Tigra's submissions and that Beatrice deleted her opponents falls all the time. I thought it sound very stupid and far fetched. But I'm really curious if you know anything about it. Thanks
@Shogun997 I'd be very surprised if wrestlers and businesswomen as well respected as Beatrice and Tigra would ever risk jeopardising their reputations by taking recourse to these type actions.
also, The european women were so far ahead of the American woman in wrestling.. They must have done it growing up.. plus it must have been a anctioned sport.
Beatrice has always been one of my favorites.. I just wish her matches were downloadable somewhere. She was a great athlete. I wish she would have wrestled some some women like Luzia of DWW or Treena of DuLong...They were probably of a different time.

About the most boring "wrestling" clip I have ever seen.
First we have a view of two back, locked in a static position.
Then Beatrice escapes the headlock, and back to another static position.

Bobybuilder wrestlers, while obviously in many cases very strong, are often hampered by their lack of mobility. Beatrice took full advantage of this.

I've never seen this match but it must have been incredible. Bea was almost unbeatable - she wrestled the best and usually won.
