  • I have 16 gb. HAHAHAHAHA!

  • God i hate u3

  • I don't have any flash drive but I use a card and a card reader with a 2 GB RSMMC card in it, with Ubuntu 9.10 installed on xD

and the biggest flashdrive that I have ever seen was a 32 GB flashdrive

  • @arand4 lol

Look up super talent, you'll see a 128GB that runs on RAID 0 and has 300+ MB/s speeds

  • How about this one. If I formatted a Centon DataStickPro 8GB like my pc asked me to, and now although I can still see it in "mycomputer" but every time I try to access it now it says it needs to be formatted but the formatting never completes and locks up, what can be done??

    .

    .

.Also in it's properties it says disc is working fine, but it shows 0% available/used.

  • my dad occasioanlly uses our desk top computer to play card games which our installed on our computer, and to read the electronic version of our local newspaper.

  • does any one know how to install u3 on other jump drives...so i can secure my stuff

  • i have an 8 GB

  • I got 4GB Cruzer flash drive, also im just about to clean mine :P

  • I used to have a 1GB noname flash drive. I put it through the wash by accident, but after I let it dry for a day, it worked fine (the sauter for the USB connection started to come off (whoops), and I kicked it when it was plugged in to my computer (again, whoops), and it still worked. Until I tried to format it with OS X. That's when it went kaput. Now (I just bought it today) I have a Staples brand 2GB "Relay" flash drive. $17 CAD. Woohoo!

  • 2 gigs, enough for me.....lol

  • LMAO!!!

    info's not bad either

  • Nubdad.

  • My dad has a 16 GB usb.

  • AND I HAVE A SONY 32 GB USB !!!

  • LOL, Well they are very collectable.

  • I have a 128MB,256MB,512MB,1GB,2GB and an 8GB flash drives lol. I collect them.

  • I also have a 4GB one as well must have missed it out lol, at the moment I'm using it to help speed my mum's Vista computer with ready boost.

  • Well u can always make the drive just store files, instead of allowing it to store apps

  • I have a problem with a USB Flash Drive I bought on eBay. It came from Hong Kong and is 16 GB. It puts movies and some pictures jus fine, but when I try to put in Micrsft docs and other files, the file becomes corrupted, I cant open the file, and around the file appear many other files that came out of nowhere. These files have special chars as their name and when I attempt to delete them, it wont let me.any1 kno the problem w/ my drive???

  • Probably a drive tricked into thinking it is 16gb.Thats why u got corruptfiles. When the flash drive writes it thinks it got sapce left when it doesn't so it writes anyway

  • Dodgy Flash drive. Best advice.. bin it!

  • My advice, bin that flash drive, and go to a shop and buy one, you can get them cheap these days. And a good tip for the future, never buy any kind of computers and technology from China, usually they are crappy imitations of proper fully working products.

  • first dad, then mom.. LOL :)

  • i love portable apps

  • hahahahaha 8gb????

you can get a terabyte flashdrive now days for 15 bucks

    haha

i bet thats what it will come to

  • A Terrabyte Flash drive. What! I hate over here in England we haven't got them. we have up to 16GB Flash drives.

  • naa i was just saying thats what the future will bring, and thats pretty much how it is over here in america too

i think there might be a 32gb but im not 100% on that

  • Ah I see. Well flash drives work on the same Technology as Solid state drives (i think) So yeah it's likely that they will bring out a 32gb one out.

  • I hate U3. No questions asked.

  • Portableapps is way better than u3!

  • I would agree. It is more universal and free. You do not need to buy a drive.

  • I like portable apps.

  • i hate u3 it sets off my school's antivirus and when i try to work on my pojects i get kicked out the school library

  • I don't have U3 but I like the idea of having portable apps whereever I go. That is why I use Portable Apps Suite.

  • U3 sucks ass.

  • U3 is awesome!

  • the biggest flashdrive is 64 gig

  • Really? I never knew they started making them. We don't get them here in England. which is kind of sad.

  • thanks i just bought a 8gb rally flash disk didnt know about the u3 it doesnt say it has it in the specs so i should be ok i hope

  • You can have portable software without the U3 crap. U3 isn't very good and slow and just plain lame.

  • Indded, try portableapps(dot)com

  • why say that u make me sick if you dont like dont watch it

  • U3 is awesome. I have firefox, openoffice, mafee antivirus, skype and everything on my flashdrive.

  • I totally agree!

  • lol i saw them talking about usb drive capacities at bottom, lol my uncles friend went to Japan a little while ago and while there found this 100gig usb flash drive for 7 bucks, they don't sell in the US but i think my Uncle said they would sell somewhere around 500 bucks

  • 100GB Flash drive ...... that's a lot of storage,

  • Use damn small linux if you want linux on a usb!

  • U3 is awful

  • I had U3 on mine, and all I did was wipe EVERY file off of it and reformatted it. It works fine, now.

  • yeah i got u3

  • lol funny story, never experienced u3 dont know what it is

  • U3 is a program that allows you to install everyday programs like firefox, antivirus softwares, openoffice, and etc. It also makes the flash drive interface much easier.

  • If it's so useful than why don't people want it?

  • some people are scared by new technologies. Others like them. I'm the latter. I totally love U3. It is so nice to have weatherbug and firefox with me wherever.

  • Actually, most people don't like U3 is because it takes ages to load compared to normal USB's.

  • i love u3

  • nice work chris... now i know how to uninstall that software from my flashdrive...

i do have 3 flashdrive right now, the 256mb, the 1gb, and 4gb... i think 4 gb still enough...(for me...)

  • I have a single 16 USB flash drive and I'm thinking of picking up another.

  • His dad is very funny:)

  • LOL

  • i still own a 128mg flash drive

  • same thing happened with my mom

  • It's SO funny to see you talking on the phone.

  • The U3 I got had a unistall. You just have to back up your data before unistalling it.

  • 16gb

  • your dad is dumb.

  • ...format? Did no one think to format the Flash Drive?

  • U3 creates a separate partition that Windows can't format.

I didn't know about the uninstaller but the U3 on my flash drive disappeared after an error. Now I can format it like I wanted to when I bought it.

  • I`m sure they did, but when you use Windows`s (Did that make sense?) integrated format tool, it doesn`t remove built in software. I know, i tried.

  • Is that right? I've never had a Flash Drive with built is software.

  • Me neither:) It was my cousins.

  • xD.

Also, I congratulate you on being the first person I have talked to in a comment box on Youtube all day who was not immature, insecure or trying to make me look bad in some way (seriously, I said one game sucked and the guy then all of a sudden kept saying I sucked at it simply because I thought the game was crap).

  • Yeah, what`s up with that?? People need to chill and take it easy. To stop hiding behind their nick, if you know what i mean?

  • I should forward two PMs I got today. They are hilarious.

It is like the guy didn't wanna post it up in case people disagreed with him.

  • u3 is easy to uninstall... i like the flashdrives 1gb almost for free and then uninstall it :D like 60SEK over here :)

actuly ganna buy my forth flashdrive tomorrow :)

  • i got like 5 that are 32 mb and then i got one that was 256 and was like omg i got a lot of space rofl

  • My fist comment you your youtube account.. hillarious :)

  • I only have one 4gb SanDisk Flash drive

Bought it for my xbox 360

  • btw i have like 50 drives alot are cheap ones like 1.00 so ya i had 50 bucks and bought them all

  • u3 is not aouto play it emulates a cd-rom emulator but windows format does not work. but go to u3 get the unstaller

  • HP usb utility.

  • I've got one of the smallest USB sticks out there, and its not even a flashdrive itself. Its the Kingston USB Micro SD Reader. Put a microSD in (I use a 2 GB one) and its a Flashdrive the size of a little over twice the USB connector's size.

And yes, with the connector I mean just the bit that disappears inside your machine, this thing is a little over twice _that_ size.

  • Iv got a 40GB Flash Drive

  • i thought they went up 32 gigs

  • Its a small laptop Hard disk in a External IDE to USB 2.0 so its not a Flash Drive :-P

  • yea... but i bet it isn't smaller then one of those new Ipod Nanos.

  • yea Its not so small

  • lol

  • I personally like U3 the software can be annoying @ times but the Autoplay feature is great. I think Portable App's suite is better but you can't auto run it.

  • I've never gotten a flash drive with U3 on it and it sounds like an annoyance if one doesn't want it. I recently bought a 8gb flash drive for use as a ready boost for Vista 64-bit and it turns out that Vista only recognizes 4gb in addition to the 4gb of installed memory. The biggest flash drives that I've seen are 64gb and they go for like $3500 while the 32gb ones start around $100.

  • Are you sure you didn't mean to type $350 in stead of $3500? I mean, you can buy a nice computer with $3500 :|

  • Google 64gb flash drive and you can see I meant $3500. I did a little research and they do sell them for $350. Maybe I jumped the gun a little but they are selling them for 3 grand too. So there must be people spending that much I would assume. It does seem crazy the most expensive one is like $4600.

  • n00b

  • Or you could just format it... That's what I did

  • Supertalent Pico C 8gb.. water resistant dogtag flash drive ;) /sexy

  • U3=Ur frustration * 3

  • Totally Agree

  • The biggest one out there as of now is 32GB. hahaha

  • What is U3

  • Have you ever heard of Portable Apps Suite. If you haven't it's basically software that has a GUI that looks like a Start Menu. From here you can open the root of the flash drive to browse files. You can also launch portable apps from the software.

  • U3 is basically that. It also has another feature. Since you can not use autoplay from USB devices in windows. The flash drive is partitioned into two parts one of the parts is tricked to be seen as a optical disc. This way you can run autoplay so the U3 software is ran automatically.

  • Thank you.

  • I have 2 gig good enough for me

  • wow u3 is a good app for flash drives lol

  • I hate U3

  • Well said once again. I sorta like U3 because it makes your device more "polished". BUT, it wastes time loading. So many AARG U3!'s when @ school.

  • The U3 software is terrible. And extremely annoying on top of being completely useless.

  • lol

  • dude u3 sucks, my first flash drive had u3 on it and it was cool at first but than it got annoying

  • i hate that because it always causes compatibility problems!!! so many school projects gone wrong!

  • I don't like when I plug mine in when I'm using Windows, but in Linux nothing comes up.
