Listen, a couple people don't like this version that we did because the vocals aren't exactly like Layne sang them....that was the point. This is our take on one of my favorite songs ever written. We made it slightly different by changing the vocal style and the guitar solo was improvised at the end so we wouldn't be just copying the AIC version. It's all out of respect for Layne and the band. We love this song, so please just enjoy our version of it. WE ARE NOT TRYING TO BE THE NEXT LAYNE!

Sure;) All we used was an old Roland 808 8-track recorder, a shure sm57 for vocals and on my guitar cab. And some Line 6 pod tracks. Pretty cheap setup.

Thanks for the compliment! I didn't really put effects on the recording except some reverb on all tracks, and some delay on the lead guitar part.

I actually played the bass part on my Les Paul, as well as all of the guitar tracks. There are two clean guitar parts throughout the song, and they are mixed hard left and right. That is what adds the fullness to the sound. The vocals were done a pretty standard, cheap mic. Thanks!-Jordan
