I think this is actually the best of Roy's post-Move albums. He had some moments with his later work with Wizzard and Wizzo, but I think he moved away from his progressive rock phase and into more rockabilly territory. He never did seem to get much attention, though.
It is sad that Roy Wood doesn´t make this kind of songs anymore. Of course time has changed. But in opinion his recordings for example in the 1980´s are not equal to his best years 1967- 1975.

Interestingly enough, although released in 1973, much of this album was recorded during Roy's later Move days!
