He does play piano. He also took up violin in school. He taught himself how to play electric guitar and acoustic guitar. He was on a 2 yr theatre scholarship in college, but dropped it. He also played basketball, football, baseball, and golfs. He can sing anything & has great vocal range, writes his own songs and arrangements. He is fantastic--and he's a really nice guy.

Think about it... toward the end they are all given stylist advice and etc. At the beginning it is them and them alone, but once the end is near they start shaping their images and polishing them up a little bit. Yes he had nail polish on. He also had nail polish on during his second Hollywood audition when he sang I'll Be. That was him before the stylists got ahold of him.

I think he's good. He has already admitted to getting lucky with song choices. He's been able to find other adaptations of the songs and used those adaptations to base his arrangements on. This was based on the godHead cover, as he did with Cris Cornell's Billie Jean and Whitesnake's Day tripper. I think that he is the best musician in the final three. David A. may have the better vocals (my opinion), but Cook is just musically sound.
