I put Gaga and Pink at about the same level vocally - different qualities, but similar capabilities. However, Gaga is worlds more versatile vocally than just about anyone in the industry. She shares similarities to so many people in the music biz present and past, but the kicker is that everyone of these artists she's always compared to is from different parts of the musical landscape. Example: Madonna, Elton John, Grace Jones, David bowie, Freddie Mercury. Vastly different artists.

I wanna see Lady Gaga doing all the shit P!nk does during her show. I wanna see her doing things on the trapeze, flying through the air - and singing in the same time. Until then, I dont think that Gaga can even come close to P!nk. Gaga doesnt have such a unique and amazing voice. Her lyrics arent that deep to me. When Gaga makes music, I get the impression it's just for the fame and charts. She's so fake to me and I dont like that... Sorry, I just dont like her music :/

Both are good singers and Gaga has more ease in upper belts but Pink has a much better lower register and great tone, so they balance out really..

Pink emotes much more too, Gagas is a performer and that distracts from connecting..

Ladies put on a show like no other. I mean for goodness sake wasn't pink hospitalized for falling off a harness on her tour. At the end of the day both ladies work their asses off to deliver spot on performances LIVE. But they write their own songs, and you can tell they work hard as hell to deliver their best to their fans. And that's why I am a fan of both.

These two ladies are two of my fav artist of all time. As far as technique goes, I would say they are about equal and they do things STYLISTICALLY to emote there songs. But for people to say pink has a bad technique, I would like to respectfully disagree. Pink not only sings while dancing- one of those times she was preggo- but she sang pitch perfect hanging upside down and spinning through the air. These are pretty bad note selections on Gaga's part. She has way better C5's in Speechless, better C#5's in You and I, and better D5's in Edge of Glory (and those are her money notes). :P

And also, if you've seen her live, you'll know that she uses bad technique to emote more on her album work. She gave six crystal-clear E5's two days ago at the EMA's, and her C#5's when performing Edge of Glory and You and I live are really good. :P

You can't really judge Lady Gaga from her album vocals, because that's when she uses bad technique to emote more (examples: Bad Romance, You and I, Hair). If you've heard her sing any of those songs live, you'd know that she has amazing control in her fifth octave belts (six clear and easy E5's at the EMA's.).

They're both really amazing in my opinion. Gaga is more typical modern pop, but she sets the bar in her style, which makes her more popular. P!nk is more underground punk rock, and really owns it. As far as vocals, it's difficult to decide, since they're both really talented, but I think Gaga might have the edge. She can do crazy things with her voice, and she can keep up a perfect pitch even when dancing her ass off on stage.

The only why why Gaga is looked down on as a vocalist is because she's considered as someone in the Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Kesha etc line up, which she isn't.

I like both of them, but I don't really pay attention to either nowadays. I'm just stating it how it is.

Lower Register goes to P!nk but gaga is literally right behind her. Pink takes midbelts and gaga takes upper belts. Headvoice is close but I give it to pink. Overall I'd say pink is slighty better although gaga seems to be technically perfect while pinks larynx shoots up at times. Love pinks picture, she looks hot :P love the vid, Ive missed your vids <3

In the lower register P!nk has way more support down there, but GaGa's belts are much more resonant. They're both pretty equal with their falsetto notes. Overall, I prefer P!nk but I love GaGa as well :) Nice work!

I just think that no matter how effortless you are, she just can vocalize, and her singing style isn't as much as worked as P!nk is. There are much more objective things that should be considered than just the vocals people do. P!nk have horrible G5's, but her style and her singing is way mre interesting than the other woman that sounds like nothing.
