@ptrnorth The shutoff valve is in another room, behind a hidden and locked door which is also secured by an alarm with report to the FACP, so if the door opens, a supervisory or trouble alarm go off and the building staff is immediately informed. AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY !!!
Of course a trash can is going to catch all that water that is coming out of the sprinkler.
