  • I like it very much. It looks like it could deliver some torque. I watched all your videos this morning and I thank you for the excitement at the drag strip. I felt like I was there.

I do not carve wood but use my electric chainsaw to carve house columns sometimes. I make wind turbines with bicycle wheels. If you have the time, spend a few minutes watching some of my videos. I think that you will like the "chainsaw lathe." Thanks again for the excitement. PRPaul1

Hey! Like that chainsaw lathe. I really like your info on making generators. I been wanting to make a better generator to use on this plastic bucket vawt. It turns in a 10 mile wind easy. Even with genny I am using it turns. Standing right next to it it still don't hesitate from turning either. What I am gonna do is make sure of the genny I want and then stack another bucket on top, catch more wind. Wish me luck.

  • @mottotv Taller has more power (torque). I was thinking of stacking 4 buckets between two bicycle wheels myself and then wrap it all up with wire mesh. Connected bottom-to-bottom and rim-to-rim. You can then burn or drill small holes and sew them together with copper wire. It will be nice to mix buckets of different colors. If the stack of half buckets needs a backbone, 1/2 inch copper pipe or conduit will do. Just attach it in the middle (inside or outside) from top to bottom. Sure thing!

  • kan u help me with some schemes please via email

  • @djdrive

As to what schemes are you looking for? On the vawt I built?

  • Great job it looks like it should work great
