Getting 9999 on a bike is imho opinion not too impressive. I got 9999 with koopa troopa in his standard kart. I hate bikes and therefor was extremely happy achieving this ;)

The thing with bikes is they mess up the balance I think in the game. While it does give some depth t2 the game, personally I just don't like the addition. However number 1 annoyance R hackers. I'd much rather see a player on a bike than a hacker on a kart. But not by a lot.

I had a vr of 9435 with a wii wheel using a mii with magikruser . I had a really bad day and lost 700vr back to about 8750vr. Few days later on wi-fi again i raced with hacker. Their vr was 355555. I thought the highest was 9999vr. They delibretly tried to come last. i came first with 7 other hackers and got 671 vr. I went up to 9500 vr.

ps i saw a person with 9999 vr not hacker with baby mario on the concerto and he was unefeatable.

They used a hack to get 35555 vr. He intentionally came in last because he most likely was a lulz hacker and they reward you for finding them. Lulz hackers are also very helpful some times when they find a hacker who uses hacks to win, as they target the enemy hacker over and over. Some even use a Guest vr when that happens so that there is a chance that the enemy hacker will lose all their victory points, though it causes collateral damage to everyone who finishes after the Lulz hacker.

I personally think Mario Kart Wii doesn't need a VR ranking because it is very unproportional. If you have a high VR, it'll go up by 25-35 if you get in first. But if you get in a bad place because of an accident, you can lose over 100 VR, which is unfair. They can't expect you to get in a good place every time. It can also cause people who take it seriously to get really angry and stop playing.

The cc randomly changes between 100, 150, and Mirror during online matches. 150 and Mirror will be more common the higher your VR gets.

Not much except races go a bit slower and certain shortcuts may not be as easy to perform in a lower speed like 100cc. Aggressive items seem more common on 100ccs too. ...Or I just have bad luck.
