Nice, but flawed. Voice is not everything when it comes to communication. People sent letters to one another for centuries, and never felt the world around them was colourless just because they could not hear one another. Therapy is important, all should have access to it, but your campaign does not seem to be very effective. Redesign is what you need to do.

The cocophany of sounds is enough to send anyone crazy;

Maybe that's why there are so many mentally depressed/disturbed people in our generation.

They can't hear the birds sing, or another persons voice.

They are locked into their own world via - mobilephone/ ipod/ ipad etc. Alone & lonely.

Let's start a new trend!

Take earphones out and hear the world;

The damaged caused by wearing earphones and the level of the volume chosen can rob us of our hearing.

Cool animation, but i can never agree with this:

"Your voice expresses who you are in the world, can you imagine losing your voice?"

Our oral speech is just one of many ways of comunicating. I see what you are trying to do, and i think it is a great movement, you just shouldn't neglect the people who are mute, deaf or blind, because there is always another way to communicate and they do it.

To work it out, just chance that one little sentence. Good work and good luck with your campaign.

Almost 10 years ago I suffered a concussion and temporarily lost access to 70-80% of my vocabulary and the ability to recognize words upon seeing them.

I could sound out the letters and then know what the words were but couldn't read normally. Had my own thought processes not been so screwed up I would have found it frightening. To top it off when I realized that I couldn't read English I was in Latin class. Thankfully by the end of the day I was back to normal.

Language is truly a gift.

I have a niece that cannot hear (much) because of childhood whooping cough. With hearing aids you can hear "somewhat"....but she doesn't even bother. To her the world is just to noisy I suppose. She is intent with the bliss of silence :)
