This voice of Deutekom, is accurate, its on pitch.. she has a good range, and full dynamics.. but it is NOT a big voice as many try to say. Its large voice for a colortura, this role was not written for a coloratura.. it was written for a dramatic soprano with coloratura, and there is a difference.. I enjoy her singing, because it is very decent, and musically it is also decent. She has a voice slightly larger than Beverly Sills, and sills should have never sung Norma either.
