I park my sand mat and towel on the beach right in front of that Pink Palace every day while I'm there. I just got back two days ago and I'm looking forward to my next visit. That was the second hotel built in Waikiki back in 1928. I love the gardens on the back side of that place, so nice!!

I've been there in February '09, it was fantastic there. They were still doing renovations but the service was still excellent and the hotel was still its beautiful pink color! 5/5

How cool is that? I lived on Oahu in '68 & '69 and I have taken my family to stay at the Royal Hawaiian several times in the past few years. My daughter is getting married at the Royal Hawaiian in March '09. This video captures the best of many great memories. Mahalo!

i used to live in hawaii, my father is in the military, and when we first moved there while we were waiting on our house we stayed in the royal hawaiian, it was amazing, i miss it so much
