It could be either one, if you remember, Rockman & Forte (Megaman & Bass JAP) was made for Super Famicom (SNES JAP) back in 1998 only in Japan, and that is the Bass Jumping Sprite from that game. There are some slight differences between the two, being that the 32 bit model was slightly thinner. Or just made to look thinner by his standing pose. Either way, it could and possibly is, most likely the SNES sprite for Bass.
@GranMrMalvado actually theyre from megaman and bass a little known about megaman game that was released on the super famicom in japan and later the gameboy advance in other territories. the game used sprites from megaman 8 while it was still 16 bit being on the japanese snes. you should actually search it up its a very good game
@peepsbates actually, megaman and bass was my first megaman game but i got it for game boy advance and i didn't knew abou it on the super famicom and because of that i tough that the sprites where 32-bits
Sounds good. So, what song will you remix next on MM10? 'Cause I'm wondering how the boss theme, Wily Machine, or Wily Capsule would sound if it were done with SNES instruments.

Nice attempt.. just to be perfectly honest, it needs some more work before it sounds perfect. Some of the instruments hurt my ears and the music's "rigid."
You ever thought of trying to do a Mega Man 7 Style rendition of the games? like 1-6 and 9 and 10

@GranMrMalvado is in 16 bits in megaman & bass
apatosaurio15 10 months ago
@GranMrMalvado LOL yes they are SNES sprites. They are also in Megaman & Bass, Which is on the 16-bit Super Nintendo..
nicholascooney 8 months ago
@GranMrMalvado That's not totally accurate. Rockman and Forte (Super Famicom/SNES) used Mega Man 8 sprites with Mega Man 7 music.
luigi250 6 months ago
@GranMrMalvado Have you ever played Rockman and Forte for the SNES? That's the sprites for that game.

@TryLouBliss *SFC

So I'm not the only one who heard the similarity. I'll definitely say it needs polish, though, but at least I know what that would sound like now.

Could you redo the samples? They come out as a RAR file which doesn't work on milkytracker

@themetalsonic94 I think you have to open the rar file to see a folder with the wavs inside -_-'

Doesn't sound all that bad with the M&B samples.
Of course, now I'm wondering what it'd be like with the X and 7 samples, too. xD

@Mobius14 it sounds ''rigid'' because i only used the instruments that appear in the rockman & forte boss battle theme, plus the guitar
