Jason was teased and made fun of because he was deformed and the kids pushed him into the lake. Well he had hydrophelia and was afraid of water so he drowned. His mother lost it and killed all the counslers but got beheaded in the process. Jason watched his mom die. So now whenever a teenager or whoever goes to Camp Crystal Lake he kills. He wears a hockey mask to cover his face

#1: After the events of Part 4 where he ends up dead and spends several years in a coffin, wouldn't his limbs be too brittle to be an effective killer, and wouldn't the lightening strike set fire to his powder-dry skin at that point?

#2: Even if dessicated Jason did manage to wield a machette with any kind of effectivness, wouldn't spending several years at the bottom of Crystal Lake after Part 6 and Part 7 render him a soggy and spongy mess with pieces plopping off every few steps?

Yes and yes. However, the lightning strike obviously imbued him with supernatural strength and abilities above and beyond those that he had already. Zombie Jason did virtually everything different to the "normal" Jason, and his savagery took on a whole new level.
