@MrKiwiKiwi1 It depends on the game. The instructions are always in the game file. Unless its a cd image file (you can tell if there is just 1 large file in the download, usually multiple gigs)

If its a CD image, you need to download daemon tools lite, which I mentioned in the tutorial. Listen to it before you ask questions.

@harry0893 This is very normal, your download speeds will change depending on how many people are uploading currently. If the number fluctuates, it means that people who have the file are logging off and on during.

Since you have part of the file, other people are downloading that part off of you, so when you log off or close the torrent handler, their download speeds will go down as well.

@nehnehnearmattmellol Well, it doesn't run the program for you after you extract it, it just extracts it to the folder you provide. its better to right click on the winrar file and click on "extract here"

It will extract the files to the same area as the winrar file.

@nehnehnearmattmellol When there is a bunch of winrar files, it means the file was split up into multiple files.

95% of the time, winrar is used, and the file extension is kind of like this:

file1.00rar

file2.01rar

file3.02rar

file4.03rar

and so on. Just click right click on any of these files and click "Extract Here."

If you dont have Winrar installed, none of this will work, so make sure you install winrar.

@nehnehnearmattmellol Well, look around in the same area the winrar files are and you should see something around there. It should of placed a new file(s) or a new folder(s) around there somewhere. Look for a .exe file or a .iso file. If you downloaded a movie, look for a video file.

(btw I'm downloadin the game Amnesia) when I open it it opens winrar & there are four things. autorun.inf, setup.exe, setup-1.bin, & a folder called skidrow. After I click on that theres, Amnesia.exe & skidrow.exe. When I click them it starts extracting. I tried hitting view file & it extracted it. Once it finished something came up sayin Program cannot be run in DOS mode, then a crapload of stuff I couldn't understand. thx so much for helpin me btw!

@nehnehnearmattmellol You need to run the .iso in daemon tools as mentioned in the video. Once you do that, go to "My Computer" and you will see the disc icon there, if you dont see the disc icon, just right click on the virtual drive it created and click "explore" or "open"

This will open the CD, next you will run the install.exe or whatever other .exe is there that starts the game up. I am not sure the instructions for your particiular game so you need to find the .nfo file w/ instructions

@nehnehnearmattmellol Go back to the torrent site and look at the comments section. Read them all, if your experiencing a crash, then there are other people experiencing crashes as well and they post resolutions. Thats why I only go to the pirate bay for torrents, they have many comments.

There are a couple universal things you can try. Run in administrator mode, update your drivers, disable sound.

just google up "VLC" and download it.  It contains most video codecs.

@paLLfuckaLL On the piratebay, only download the torrents that have a pink or green skull and crossbones next to the link. Those are trusted and/or by a VIP member.

Also, many torrents have what we call "False Positives" which is not a virus, but a virus protection software will see it as a virus. This is because there is most likely an executable that seems like its doing something damaging to your computer, but it really isn't.

ALWAYS read the comments, if its a virus, others will say so

@10nyesha Photoshop is very easy, just download the torrent like you would any other software or movie, then, just open it like usual. Usually you have to run the .bat file which will block adobe from accessing your computer to check if your version is correct.

Once this is done, just install it with the serial located in the .nfo text file and bam, you have it installed.

@neuronaut77 If its an ISO file, you need to use Daemon tools to mount it. Once its mounted, something may pop up, or, you will have to go into my computer > and look for the icon and right click on it, then choose open or explore.

Look for the readme or the folder.

Its best to look for instructions from the website where you downloaded it, 99% of the time there will be people having the same problem as you and they talk about it.

From what I understand, yes you can. You don't need the viewer to torrent. You just need the Viewer to read the Instructions and Comments that the author of the file may have put into the download. The instructions have been saved in a .nfo file, so you need a .nfo reader to read it. That's what the Viewer is.

@209sub0 well you cant expect to just download it and have it magically work, you need to mount it most likely. Just tell me what kind of files they are? If its an ISO, you need to mount it using Daemon Tools. If its a rar file, you need to download winrar and then unrar it.

@209sub0 Ok, when you mount it, you still have to install the game, just go to My Computer > right click on the game disk you see there and go to "open"

Next, just doube click on the install icon, while your there, look around for a "crack" folder or some other folder, read the readme file there, it usually tells you what to do, its a little different from each game. Sometimes you have to copy over the .exe in the program directory or replace .dll's or install registry items.

I was seeding a file... someone conected to download it from me... then... he had my computer name, and was identifying itself as me!!!! than he got the best velocity for download... but after I close the BitTorrent and open again... that file was corrupt!

B.  They just handle torrent files, its a very simple program.

@wasup671 You can find videos like that anywhere. It depends on what file you are left with. If its an iso, use isoburner (free download, just google it up)

There are also other formats isoburner will take, just figure it out.

For movies, you will need to burn it to a DVD using a special software. A good free one is called DVD flick (again, google this one up)

@ethiolove098 2 things can be the culprit here:

1. Your ports are not open, go to portforward and find out how to open port 6969. Those are common bittorrent ports, but you will want to check which ports will work for your software.

2. Your downloading outdated or unpopular torrents. Make sure your torrent has alot of seeders, the more seeders, the more chances one of them will be online to upload it for you.

If you are still having trouble after this, let me know.

You just need to watch the comments on each torrent, some people will tell you if its a virus and to stay away from it. Alot of the times, they will store the serial numbers for the software or the CD key for the games in that file, but for the most part, its the calling card of the person who hacked it. They have their logo up and other information about themselves (obviously nothing TOO revealing)

Well, the reason I use winrar over 7zip is because winrar is more compact, the compression rate is better, and the interface is a lot smoother.
