What if protestors ever overpowered the police and then took their weapons and gear? Who would stop them then? I'm sure they bring in the bulk of the police to these marches and while sure they may have more in these states, the next wave would have to now deal with protestors armed with the same weapons they are. Meaning they can shoot back rubber bullets and flash grenades. Also, having the protective gear against them as well.
With a little organization they should be able to overtake the cops position and get those that are arrested back, they can't arrest everyone. Easier said than done of course, but it seems like there are ton of people snapping pictures instead of trying to help those being brutally treated by those who are paid to "serve and PROTECT." What if protestors ever overpowered the police and then took their weapons and gear? Who would stop them then? I'm sure they bring in the bulk of the police to these marches and while sure they may have more in these states, the next wave would have to now deal with protestors armed with the same weapons they are. Meaning they can shoot back rubber bullets and flash grenades. Also, having the protective gear against them as well.

With a little organization they should be able to overtake the cops position and get those that are arrested back, they can't arrest everyone. Easier said than done of course, but it seems like there are ton of people snapping pictures instead of trying to help those being brutally treated by those who are paid to "serve and PROTECT." I realize the need to keep things peaceful but at a point the need to help someone being mistreated becomes greater. I could be wrong though.
