I have another wee general observation on some guitar/song videos. On a couple of peoples videos I have suggested the correct chord/chords that should be played, just to be helpful. I usually get back something like - 'well - this is MY version of the song' - yeah right.

They are usually just too lazy to get it right - It's the attitude ' fuck it, that's near enough' which pisses me off.

You know, sometimes (well a lot of the time actually) - someone sticks a solo up on Youtube and it's pants. If the person is a beginner it's understandable, but a lot of the time the person doesn't take time to actually listen to the original and they play what they think they hear rather than what is actually there. Seen this loads of times !

tkmafkng is the exeption and a stunning one at that. He has taken time to get the notes, bends, timing etc pretty much exact. Look and learn people !

honestly, he didn't really get the sound either. Altough i've seen someone with the same amp getting the same tone. Search a bit on the marshall DSL 401, the guy also tells in the comments what his settings were. But the rest of the song the tone was really close!!

For what effects he uses, i supose he only uses a good reverb i think. A cranked marshall amp with a good amound of gain if you ask me! Also try some other playing techniques, i have been working on it and realy got tone changes!
