  • MAN HE IS SO UNDER RATED!!

  • k-os is a legendary case of stage fright, hence the alcohol...his studio work is impeccable, but he often struggles on stage.

  • It was his 36th birthday when he performed on Late Night with David Letterman, maybe thats why he sounds different....

  • haha yah he's drunk but to someone who has never heard his music b4, it still sounds brilliant.

  • Yeah, he's not drunk, it's obviously a different take.

  • I don't think he's drunk I think he just might be doing a different take on the song.

  • hya drunk! ^^

  • toronto man!

  • makes sense, the beats were so his style.

  • K-Os is bad ass.

  • BIG, BIG, BIG!!! Performance....

  • The band is tight......but he's got major pitch problems. Too bad because he seems like a nice dude and all.

  • He's pissed drunk--probably why.

  • Love this song

  • I like K-OS but I HAAAATE this song! It's so bloody commercial.

But I was watching it because I liked the fast beat. Although his voice sounds really bad.

  • this performance is ok. Before you rate him, you go up on stage and try to sing. Its really hard.He is also just drunk.

  • agreed. he's definitely drunk in this video.

  • Yea i was so thinking the same thing..He looks like high or drunk...both

  • popular != commercial, this performance is kinda lackluster though he seems kinda energy sapped

  • actually i shit deep on the real song and vomit on it. babyish. ill take this one anytime.

  • damn hes trashed.

  • Wow, I love K-OS but this is a terrible performance.

  • agree

  • its not a whole octave lol

  • He's singing it at a lower octave... urgh

  • what's wrong with the lower octave?..

  • The drummer could at least play the right beat.

Still a great song...K-OS had his thizz face on.

  • kos lok like will-i-am lol

  • that's cause they are brothers...

  • haha...definately not

  • i love how this version is more reggae and stuff fucking sweet

  • real sh!t...!!!

  • Talented man

  • He CAN sing on key... saw him live a couple times.. i guess he just doesnt have a proper vocal hygiene...

  • i love that ending

  • Fuck it--that nigg* is trippin.

  • Fucking K-OS owns my life.

He made me just have an amazing epiphany, haha.

That and I LOVE how he's Canadian, and reps us in most of his songs, and hates haters.

  • hot track, grate artist, stupendous music.

  • i would kill to go to his concerts

  • great artist and song but k-os is trippin!

  • k-os is so fun, this song is so fun to move around to it really makes you feel good about yourself.

  • sad to see "K-OS" is a singer/preformer in that sense... after hearing his tracks on tiger woods pga tour '08, especially black ice-hymn for disco, I was hoping he was just a sweet electronica/IDM producer/dj- oh well, black ice, and the version of sunday morning on tiger woods still rule

  • hes got a sick voice... live its really something plus lyrically and flowwise... hes on point.. i promise son..the neezy drops knowledge and has a TRUE talent.

  • he does produce his own stuff, he's got a live band now.. all his older shit was produced by him (beats)

  • great artist, but dollers to donuts he's intoxicated on something.

  • He seems to be intoxicated a good percentage of the time. In fact, I think I've only seen him act normal in one or two telivised appearances(interviews, ect.).

  • lol k-os? nah hes bomb man.

  • LIL JAZ!!!!!!!!!!!

    nelly furtado's babydaddy/former dj

  • I think he should sing the actual melody. What he's doing now is cool, but I don't think I've seen him sing the actual right melody before. He's just going off

    Love the song

  • is it me or is this guy stumbling on the stage?

  • it's a common people alot of people do. It's like a still dance expression. stumbling? lol...i guess so to someone who hasn't seen it :?

  • he does that alot on stage. he might be high, i don't know

  • k-os has such a mysterious aura...he's so damn talented..amazing artist

  • knaan is a realy good artist too!,. reay creative lyrics!!

  • One of THE best and most true hiphop artist in the world.

  • he is so talented!

  • amazing

  • i dont think his singing is up to his usual performance but other than that its great

  • No one sounds like they are in the studio when they are live. It is really hard because you have to catch a breath while singing. Still, Kos has a great singing voice even if he doesn't sound like he does on the album

  • I'm so happy he got on david letterman he need to be noticed more he's just 2 damn talented..lol and he's from Vancouvor, Canada and now lives in Toronto...yah baby T-DOT!!! :)

  • 604

  • Actually he's from Whitby, east of Toronto.

  • i went to highschool with him. He hung out at my house and rapped in my basement

  • lol sure

  • he's from whitby donkey

  • that is a great performance

  • great drummer. ray garraway. one of the best in canada!

  • man that dj is freakin tearing it up man

  • saw k-os live in saskatoon at the university pub.. it was amazing best day of my life :)

  • You obvously havent lived long then how old are you two years old three posibly???

  • fucking gorgeous man

  • yaaa K-os is from toronto!!!!

he lived a few streets over from me b4 he was famous!!!!!!!

  • He's a better will I am

  • I just got back from seeing this dude live. Don't let this performance deter you from doing the same, he played this and hit every note dead-on.

Also, freestyled while playing guitar. Can you say "badass"?

  • For those that say it sounds different, well, yeah. after the Ashley Simpson fiasco most artists on SNL are probably going to be VERY careful to vary their live performance from their recorded song. That is part of what makes live better anyway - the variations - but either way, whether that is typical or not for them is irrelevant; its going to be a factor in the back of their heads. Personally i like both versions

  • In my opinon this is even better than the studio version K-os is showing emotion here

  • Rock the FUCK on! I love K-OS! HE'S THE BEST!!!

  • isnt he from ajax?

  • Nope, he is from Whitby, my (Canadian) hometown.

  • I like the small differances in the live version.

The few added words and differant things really make it a cool change of pace.

  • i love this song k-os is the man rock on

  • captainyewtoob

Can you back up those assumptions you have? If not shut the fuck up.

Now to the preformence, its a diffrence version but i freakin love it.

Well done k-os, we will be seeing alot more of him and his band!

  • This song has so much more personality live.

I love the way he fades out in the chorus.

"Sunday MORNING! OH OH OH OH!"

    Great.

  • it could have been better, i think k-os knows that

  • TORONTO TALENT!!

  • i dont care that sounded great k-os is naturally gifted to put rhymes together and talk about your everyday troubles give him some credit he has done a lot better than CRANK dat an sum other ignorant shyt

  • Btw I also wanted to add that I saw Linkin Park live as well....and they sounded EXACTLY as they do on CD. Chester is off the hook.

  • K-os is off the hook.

  • I heard him live yesterday....and he was fuckin' awesome.

  • to the people hating: have you ever sung live before? singing live and recording are different..i kno frm experience when i sing at home jus chillin it's easier and i sound better..but when u get on stage..1)there's a loud audience 2)u get nervous(& when some like me get nervous you lose your breath)

    it's exhausting...

i think he sounds good live it's jus that you can barely here him...

  • arrrgggg

  • His singing didn't sound on point but K-os is an awesome artist.

  • i don't know what all the hating is about go to any live musician's event, they don't sing as "perfect" as they do on the CD. because it's LIVE you idiots he's not the first musician to not sing as well as on the CD

  • if u insult K-OS it's prob cause you some f'in idiot that doesn't understand wat he talks about. Try listening to the normal moronic songs like "buy you a drank" i know its gonna b hard to figure that one out for u, but a secret, drank really means drink;) *now walk it out, (Repeat 100,000 times=song) joke music... K-OS rules, stfu:D

  • K-os is an extremely talented artist, however, this perfomance was terrible. Don't knock him though, he's still nice. Much respect to k-os.

  • Dont knock him? you just did. think before you type!think!

  • wow this is way better then the orginal =P

  • Whats with all the haters?

At least k-os doesnt rap about being gangster and all his hoes, he raps about stuff that matters

  • this is probably one of the worst live performances on youtube. he spends the whole song looking for a key to sing in. damn how sad.

  • 0/10. Nice attempt at trolling.

  • K-os is a great artist and musician, he's able to sing and rap equally well, and his lyrics are thoughtful. Tell your friends, spread the word.

  • Kick ass Ned Steiner stand up bass, K-OS ROCKS!!

  • I think it's a cello actually.

  • Yeah, I noticed that after I posted but oh well, cello's better anyway

  • Hear that? it's a black man SINGING - sounds so good - the rap is sooooo tired - bring back the SOUL!!

  • AMEN!!!

  • k-os raps too, keep in mind

  • I love K-os! His Juno performance was awesome! Go Canada!

  • Rumor mill has him MAYBE getting up some biz with either BT or DJRap... How f-ing hot would that be?

  • Wow five days before my birthdate xD

  • T dot is proud of you son!

  • Cant wait to see him

  • CANADA REPRESENT!!!

  • better than the original:)

  • haha this was so different from the original.

the tempo was so much faster. but i liked it

  • yeah, when u play with a live band, you always play faster or too slow (most of the times faster, hehe).

I like it....I really like this artist....canadians should be proud of him........and YES, i'm going to see him finally 24 may (this thursday) in Amsterdam, wooohoooooo.....SUNDAY MORNINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • we are proud of him. but he's VERY underrated.

  • Here's what K-os had to say about this RE-MIX :

"I just did a remix that I performed on David Letterman, mostly because you get to the point where your song's been out so long and you get bored of performing it, so I just wanted to do a remix for myself, so that when I played it felt like I could have the energy to do it."

  • nice, yeah it sounded great.

  • I love that fact that the live arrangement of this song differs distinctively from the studio recording.

  • Some people want to listen to the CD, even when they go to see it live. K'OS refuses genres, even ones he's inventing as he goes along. Terrific arrangement.

  • Honestly I love how he improvises off of the original, it seems to give the song even more emotion and makes it all the more beautiful

  • I mean the peformance wasn't that bad.. and if you didn't enjoy him I mean hey the drums sounded pretty nice... but anyways the point is I've seen worse and by far heard worse

  • i thought this performance was dope! im sure the haters would rather just see him up there and have the beat being played from a cd instead of a live band, but that's what makes K-os next level. It's also quite g@y to want a artist to dress different? Hip Hop is not for fashion show ho's!

  • i saw K-os live, and he did a wicked cover of Paul McCartney's "Yesterday"

  • We gotta get a few things str8 here. K os is obviously a very essentric guy (whoever dosnt see that is blind). Since im such a big fan, ive followed him, watching countless interviews and performances he has had. And honestly, he looks drunk/high in everyone. He sings off key, and looks disintrested. He likes turning his back to the audience, showing he is very shy. Not all famous people are outgoing. Kos cant control the spotlight, so he fumbles. He makes Godly music though.

  • this arrangement was brutal... to the song and k-os's voice

  • I like K, and I love the song, but hot dammit, take your hand off the top of the mic so I can hear you

  • Solargrl, I recognize that the arrangement is different, but honestly, this preformance really isn't very good.

  • I love it when artists play with their songs live.

Ever seen The Roots perform? Hell sometimes you can barely tell it's the same song because they're jamming on one tiny tangent of the original but Thought's still all over it.

    Go K-Os! :)

  • i heart k-os

  • This is totally unexpected...from the studio version.

  • I glad someone commented on the fact that the song arrangement has been altered from the album version. I think that it might be throwing some people off, because it sounds different, and they can't pinpoint why, so they assume it was a bad performance.

  • I like K-OS...one of my favourties...His performance here sucks....

  • sorry but this is a woeful performance!

  • Nah, live shows are far from perfect save a few. it's excellent to see Canadian talent get exposure...T-dot, rex, wewt :)

  • I love k-os, but I think this performance was really bad.

  • got respect for k-os but this is just wack

  • I think KOS is one of the most talented artists in the world --but-- it was a self- indulgent performance. He wasn't giving his spirit but his ego. It wasn't about the song.He was trying to act like he didn't care he was on Letterman. It was a form of sabatoge. I think he has a problem with being successful totally although he has the ability. He may fear it-- understandably. It's a trip at the level he's breaking into--superstardome it's a death and you fight it.

  • you're are critiquing his style of dress, but what does that have to do with the music? i see nothing wrong with his style/hair. get over the superficial shit and enjoy the music.

  • i have bought all his cds and just his unplugged performance and this set just amazed me he didnt seem himself hopefully the audience will look past it and k-os please come to florida you should be headlining not gym class and thats crucial!!!!

  • KNOWLEDGE OF SELF

  • well his CLOTHES/style makes HIM so different/standout. Don't try to change someone cause he doesn't look "clean cut"

  • Cant people just enjoy the music..Damn..your all like a bunch of judgemental school kids...if you think your perfect try walking on water...just enjoy the music...his clothes shouldnt matter!

  • Well I kind of like his onstage antics and a bit odd clothing(similar to Bono one might say). As someone said is was his birthday, so maybe he was just super excited, and maybe had a bit of alcohol to drink... Although his voice in this song is ok, I think on the record it sounds nicer.

  • A Bit of Alcohol??? lol. he was drunk!

  • seems like music is his drug(and thats a good thing) ....not coke

  • I know k-os will clean up, he's got no choice. He is destined to bring the light child into the minds of many young people. It's just a phase, he will soon come back to knowledge.

    Shanti

  • i kind of feel like killing it- I know that guy commenting on the guy commenting on the guy commenting on the bassist!

  • I'm digging his music...He just needs to change his style - His clothes, i mean. He looks like a bumb! And clean those dreads homie.

  • lol spek, he looks wicked wore the same thing in saskatoon 2 years ago :)

  • how the fuck do you figure he is on coke? someones been sippin on the haterade eh?

  • considering it was his bday imma let this performance slide...

  • I think k-os is a talented dude, but let's be honest here...that performance was ass! In the immortal words of Rick James "cocaine is a hell of a drug"! Now I don't know if its coke, but k-os was definitely on something! He needs to get his act together. Maybe there's a reason he doesn't get international exposure. Drugs, sex and rock and roll has claimed some of the best of them, dude better take it easy!

  • I've seen k-os in a small room with 200 people and in a big hall with thousands. Nice to see him getting international exposure

  • I love k-os! He oughta stop getting fucked up before performances though.

  • yo this cat and his band are super dope. The new album is off the chain.

  • I saw k-os live in Victoria during FolkFest. Sold out open air show. Absolutely amazing.

  • i know none of you

    but i love k-os

im so happy i got to see em at gch show

  • Wait a minute, I know that guy commenting on the guy commenting on the bassist!!

  • hey i know that guy commenting about the bassist!

  • hey I know that bassist!
