I've been holding out in creating an account with YouTube all this time, until now. I created an account just to say thanks Nito711, you rock! Actually, running IOS Downgrader isn't necessary for installing wads. What it does is downgrades all IOS's (Except the one used by your System Menu) to the corresponding versions that have the fakesigning bug. The wad manager will use cIOS (custom IOS) if it is detected to install wads, so downgrading the other IOS's isn't needed.

iggy524, I have the same problem as you, I wanna play using the disc channel but it asks to update and I don't want to brick my wii.

And...When ever I click the shop channel it takes me back to the Wii menu :(

Forgot what I asked here, it worked perfectly. It didnt downgrade my Wii and I can install wad games. (Something strange is when I downloaded Super Smash Bros in my Wii, it's Sin & Punishment that appeared, but the game is still Super Smash Bros)

I figured it out. If anyone else is getting this problem, delete everything on your SD card and start with fresh folders.

well all you have to for is just get game emulators for homebrew channel if not you can download the wad which will put the emulator as a channel your choice

another thing...so i also looked into the uninstall program which came in bundled with your guide, but i couldn't understand the submenus and the codes. i played around and deleted one file from the "installed channels submenu"...it turned out that i accidentally deleted my "internet channel"...anyhow, i wouldn't wanna play with them any more unless i know what im doing next time...would appreciate your help... thanks!

hey, thanx for the video, got it to work eventually on my system. but after doing the last part with the iso downgrader, i had to go back to wad manager again to finally install in the channels.

problem now though is that my wii system memory is now full, so i need to uninstall some games. should i just delete them from the wii memory as with any other channel, or do i need to use an "uninstall program" (so as not to leave any traces?)

see if you can install any other wads first if not try to find another wad manager maybe if you had a different one it might be able to download IOS16

Ok after a while... it didn't worked at the end of waiting the files downloaded and installed it gave me an error something like ret(1007).

I've been trying other methods. Do you think that could interfered?.

it will trick the soft ware of the wad manager to think its 3.2 or 3.3 but it is still 3.4

A few questions

1. Does this actually downgrade my Wii or does it stay at 3.4 the whole time?

2. Do actual wii game discs still work fine after this?

3. Do I need any other files other than the ones you included in your folder? For example do I need a .dol file or anything else? I already have twilight hack and homebrew channel installed on my wii.

4. Does IOS16 file go in the WAD folder or the root of the SD card?

Thanks for the video... I just installed twilight hack today and I'm kind of weary about getting wads. I have 3.4U, and I heard when you try and downgrade (or whatever it is with the ISOs) theres a chance you can brick your wii (it stops working)... I'm a total noob when it comes to this, so basically do you know the chances of it bricking when I do this? Thanks
