The reason they have it covered was to prevent any outside inlfuence dealing with physical wind. A lot of the times one can try with no cover, and they might be mislead by soft breathing, the A/C or whatnot.

turn it 90 degrees
fold it again
put it on the needle
if it still falls after that
try pushing things rather then spinning

WoW, very hard, NOT.
The heat from the hair dryer transfers to the table, the glass, the putty you have underneath the glass.
Warm air rises, and as it does so slides from the underneath of the paper folds and causes it to turn.
I just set up the same trick and the psiwheel continues to spin for some seconds after you use the hot hair dryer.
I'm sure you tricked alot of peopple here tho ;(

he was not trying to levitate it. He was showing that he can spin it. the whole point is to spin the paper on the needle. not levitate the paper. its called a psi wheel.

If you truly have psychokinetic powers, have it tested under laboratory conditions, independent. There are several places that can be set up and psychic tests that can be administered. Something like this can be faked. I congratulate you on doing a good job of it however.

He put it in the bowl to prove that it wasn't due to external sources. He used the hair dryer to prove that he wasn't blowing on it to move it.

Another theory on this one, notice how he pulls of the glass which looks to be sealed all the way around, well there on the table is left a ring mark, only its not a complete ring like the bluetack is a little higher in that section. I wonder why he never went all the way around the bowl with the blow dryer ? especially in that spot on the back of the glass and at an angle thats not from above ? I think he used the air element on this one !

So the only difference is, I don't think aloud, when I question things. Oh and if I don't have certainty, I can admit that, instead of making a close guess (which is just as accurate as the belief in the Chi power anyway).
It like people saying they believe in evolution, simply because they don't want to believe in creationalism. Belief in the anti-belief is still blind belief if the choice is made simply to reject the given theory.

i don't know why people easily say it's fake. as though they are very sure it's fake without even trying it.
i tried it, first, without any cover, i was able to do it. it spinned pretty well and fast.
i tried it under a glass bowl, at first it wasn't moving. but last night, to my surprise, it did move, BUT very slow. but the point is, IT MOVED! it's R E A L!

Hey man, I have the same problem, i can move it when its in the open, withouth any wind source or anything else affecting it.

Okey, last time I tried it, it spinned a lot even though it's under a plastic cover. As far as I am concerned, I can feel my "static electricty" was very strong during that day so the wheel was spinning strong. So it's the static electricity within our body, there's no trick, no magic, no cheating, it's all about "static electricity".

The reason they have it covered was to prevent any outside inlfuence dealing with physical wind. A lot of the times one can try with no cover, and they might be mislead by soft breathing, the A/C or whatnot.
