@joop1991 hier komen heel wat rijbanen bij elkaar vanaf 2kanten; daarom hebben ze hier voor stoplichten gekozen omdat het naar veel minder rijstroken gaat. Dat de lichten op rood gaan is dus puur toeval

haha at my city where i live we have 3 mercedes fire trucks 2 engines and 1 is a diffrent 1 it makes the hose lines longer or something but begin 2010 our fire station get a new fire engine :)

yes that is a fire truck we call it and HA its transport huge equipment for to suck water out of rivers or any other emergency calls like person in water and that stuff and it makes also longer distances for water lines the type is an MAN :P we have 3 mercedes 2 mercedes fire engines and 1 very old one dont know the english word for that and we have about the 6 dennis engines those are also fire engines

Mischien een late reactie , maar was het niet simpler geweest om ladder Nico te alarmeren voor deze melding , de aanrijtijd van willem is erg lang , en nico zit al bij de ij-tunnel dus die zijn sneller ter plaatse

ladder nico was daar al als 2e autoladder en wij werden geallarmeerd omdat er was opgeschaald naar grote brand.

very good driving BUT very hazardous to. Crossing red light in the speed they have chance to stop if someone have not heard / seen them - and with that many bicycles...No accident is so importante wenn you kill people on the way out there......

Well, I've seen many movies of Kazerne Willem and I think they've got a lot of experience and do a very good job.

I've seen much worse examples (most in foreign countries) and I doubt they take too much risk.

@ Flatpro01: this is normal driving, I don't how it is in your country, but here people mostly get out of the way when the sirens approach, and with the very loud (you wouldn't want something else in Amsterdam) sirens, you can hear it easily.

I watch the videos and I also go to the Nederlands every yr. I notice that people do not respect the movement of the fire trucks. They seem to have to fight thru traffic and people don´t move out of the way and they keep coming into the intersections even if the sirens are going. Several times in the videos you see almost an impact from people not stopping or moving out of the way.

Jongens... Ik ben zelf chauffeur bij de brandweer, stoppen jullie niet wanneer het rood is?!? Tegen zulke snelheid telkens door het rode licht en dan nog terwijl het goed te zien is dat er verkeer is! Wat als jullie een fietser meegraaien die braafjes door het groen reed, of een automobilist die jullie niet zag komen... Ik zou niet graag instaan voor de gevolgen. Ik weet heus wel dat we snel moeten zijn, maar eigen veiligheid en dat van de andere weggebruikers is toch ook wel belangrijk.

Die jongens hebben gerust genoeg overzicht om te zien of de mensen stil staan of niet. Zijn overzichtelijke kruizingen en heb in de hele film geen gevaarlijke momenten gezien.

hee alweer de zoveelste video maar ze blijven goed. goeie chauffeur trouwens, erg inventief met 'alternatieve' routes (fietspaden, busstroken). maar bij 2x spookrijden kwam er geen tegenliggend verkeer, was dat een gok of was de weg voor het overige verkeer afgezet?

Yes but you can hear him say: "Ja, het brandt wel!" which means "Yes, it does burn!" so I guess they were waiting for them to arrive or so...

you dont see any smoke or commotion because the ladder had to come from the otherside of the city and when they arrived the most work was already done by the units from the stations more close to the adress
