These awards were, for YEARS, the NBC (especially DAYS) Appreciation Awards and were so flippin' BORING to watch for those of us who follow ABC or CBS.... now, however, I feel bad for those actors from NBC soaps since they're all but non-existent. The Soap Awards was their only claim to fame since ABC and CBS, more or less, were the nets that cleaned house at the Emmys. Now even Deidre is gone from NBC!

EXACTLY! becase it was mostly televised by NBC! if u look on wikipedia, u can see for all of the emmys soap opera digest awards... it was all won by DAYS! until they chainged the scoring and put it on CBS and ABC more often.
