I don't understand why the other Christians dislike Catholics so much. Maybe it's because I'm still a kid but I really respect all the other Christians, because, although we have different beliefs, our faith that Jesus died for us is the same. Oh and why criticize the pope so much? Don't you remember that Jesus himself appointed Peter as the first one? I wish we could all get along better. After all, we are all children of God. You do realize that all of the things you have just named are specifically enumerated as things that the chosen people of God do in the Book of Revelation, right? The songs of Mass come from the songs in Revelation. The priestly vestments and prayers are modified not from paganism, but from Judaism, as a fulfillment of their religion in ours. The sacrifice of the Mass is not nonsense, either - it is part of what we are instructed to do in the Bible. The ceremonies and prayers are all based on Scripture. It's not that "Christianity wasn't enough" - it's that THIS is how Christianity was supposed to be, and in fact how it was for a millennium and a half before the Protestant Reformation.
