The first video that gives me the creeps when the tremor starts & its not even the biggest i've seen on youtube. Its the sounds of the studio & the way that energy rattles the place that is very familiar to me, maybe because I'm a neighbour from Thessaloniki, Greece and we may have similar or the same way of ground characteristics in our region. I swear I could tell immediately this is somewhere near in my neighbourhood before I even saw the title stating this is Romania!

Not really, we had 7,1 Richter quakes in 1940 and 1977. 1977 was the last one over 7 Richter. We had a 6 one in 1990; then this one in 2004. They are quite rare, but cause a lot of panic when they do occur; the Capital Bucharest is the most exposed to this threat; it has a population of 2 milion and about 11 thousand will die in the next 7 or over 7 Richter quake, due to collapsing blocks of apartments.

yes, earthquakes usually are pretty often here. specialists are concerned that there hasn't been any earthquake since February this year and say this may mean that a bigger one is on the way. they say it may come in early September. I'm afraid :/

Romanian Earthquakes are so rare, that we always forget what it feels like and we get very scared and confused. We get a big one every 30 years. The quake in this video is a pretty small one, there were no victims or damage recorded, it happened at the end of October 2004.
