@dublinpeter1 Did you check out the Mtn Lion Ep 11? Go Dead Down Winds web site, go to video archive there is a little piece of this years Brown Bear (Grizzly) hunt. On the ground with a bow. Or go to the Gus Congemi youtube channel and check out Gators taken live. Not every hunt is without danger.

this is ridiculous.... Red deer in the New Zealand WILD do not grow this big, this stag has been farm raised and released probably only moments before you morons came along and plugged it... very sporting guys

@TheNo1sy Sure they do, they are pretty selective on what they shoot. Plus calling in an animal like that and taking it with a bow made it that much more memorable. Have you ever seen Pigman's show? He's been to the same outfitter twice and done shows. I bet you are an anti-hunter.

I am a New Zealander and have been brought up around hunting deer, thar and chamois, my family are deer farmers and what you are saying is a load of rubbish this stag was definetly raised in a paddock.

@TheNo1sy There is no hunting season in New zealand right? It is legal to shoot from a helicopter with an automatic weapon at night right? A lot of animals never reach their potential. This farm hasn't been hunted at all. And they had some big animals. Not every Stag was that size, I hunted 4 days before I saw one, and I was willing to shoot an animal half that size.

Thanks for the input and i get what you are saying. But the sponsors pay for the show. It's not cheap to put on a show plus the network also takes advertising time. They need money to run their network. As for the music and voice over guy, we like him and went through 100 guys to find him. I have a bunch of hunts on Gus Congemi youtube page. Short to the point hunts, no frills. Check them out

Nice looking animals. Would love to hunt NZ. My quesiton; Does the commentator live in a retirement home? Sounds like he's talking to friggin children - My advice - kill the old fart, kill the drama, kill the advertisers, kill the stupid music and sound effects, and show us the hunts. You'll have a good show then.

Gus keep up the good work man and congrat's on your show . I've seen a bunch of your video's from the cd's you sent me and i watch them in my cabin upstate ny before I head out into the woods. They really get me pumped up for a good hunt. I def feel like I've brought my hunting game to a different level since speaking with you and watching your show. Good luck hunting buddy hopefully we will meet up one of these days at one of the big hunting conventions.
