Imagine a band trying to break at SXSW and these hundred million dollar guys come to down and steal the crowd. Austin is the live music capitol of the U.S. but most of the artists are boring singer songwriter jive, 1999 rock, white haired Jerry Jeff's. 3/4 of the city is lower middle class or worse, only 1/4 make good money. The traffic is a joke. The Austin Record Convention is awesome.
