  • dude you make some good food im cooking this right now!

  • @blissfulfelony obviously ur not gonna eat the whole thing by yourself!!

  • o.O i am so confused with the difference between british and american english... if this is bacon, then what is that stuff they use on epicmealtime?

  • @zucchina89 they're both bacon, just theyre from different parts of the pig, i think :)

  • are you inspired by "Fritata"?

  • its like a savory cake

  • Love your videos, David. But 5 eggs? Not really healthy, is it?

  • @BlissfulFelony This does serve 4 - 6 people...

  • Mmm Red Leister. Fresh out of Red Leister. LOL I'll resist the temptation to resight the Monty Python Cheese shop skit. Another good one.

  • OMG I think I did something wrong again :( the quiche is stuck to the baking paper. Am I suppose to buttered or oiled the baking paper before pouring in the mixture?

  • I made this for dinner last week and it was easy to put together and tasted great. My 15 year old and his friend ate all the leftovers before the end of the evening. I made it again tonight and instead of the mixed veggies, I used frozen spinach leaves. I also used half bacon and half canadian bacon; half sharp cheddar and half swiss cheeses and loved that combination too. The recipe is very versatile.

  • I don't ever cook - but I had to subscribe to you just for being awesome xD

  • BEHOLD THE SEXY RED WHISK OF DEATH!!!!

  • I love your voice, You sound like stewie, from family guy.

  • Delicious idea ~ Might I suggest using a round cutter to bring out round shaped portions.

  • instead of useing baking soda can i use corn starch?

  • @mimiivi12 No, you need the baking powder, as corn starch won't help it rise ;)

  • Whisk of death, lol!

I'm large as well and I LOVE to cook :)

  • I SO HUNGRY NOW

  • to Chef this is just a sugestion but when you cut off the fat on the bacon you lose alot of flavor and i would say try it with the fat and let me know how it is! -Kyle

  • @xAWESOMiSTPRIMEx There is plenty of fat in bacon for flavour. I trimmed off the excess as this is meant to be a light meal, and I didn't want it to be too greasy ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow oo ok thank you for the great recipes!!

  • that looks fantastic, and as you've made me hungry I'm off to make one now!

  • Looks totally delish! Can you use all purpose flour in that? I'm not sure what the difference is in the different flours? Thanks for sharing:-)

  • Made this today for a quick office lunch, wonderfully flavorful and lite. Thanks again!

  • Hey, David, I really enjoy your recipes, but do you have something that's also quick and easy and versatile, but less or no eggs? I need to take care of people with high cholesterol and so I cannot use more than 1 egg. Please and thanks!

  • Try my "Quick Pasta Bake" or "Vegetable Soup" - both are great ;)

  • Thanks David. Another fantastic easy recipe.

  • This is an excellent snack!

    Thanks for posting it!

  • Sexy Red Whisk of Death!! I've gotta get myself one of those lol thank you for the recipe David, you inspire this lowly student to cook with a pan instead of a microwave :)

Just wondering - have you ever been recognised by a stranger anywhere like at the shops as the one pot chef? :D

  • haha sexy red whisk of death, great video

  • ok...ummm this looks seriously yummy! (and full of protein! Woah!) I so am going to make this! I have so many different ideas for more vegetable combos too :-) thanks for the recipe! When I make it, I'll send you a pic, and tell you what I used. :-) yum

  • Really looks good. Your recipes are awesome. Just curious, did you grow up with alot of these recipes? They are all so wonderful.

  • Hmmmm looks good ;D

  • Do you have bisquick in Australia? I make a similar one with bisquick and chicken.

I like the idea of putting it in a square container, very easy to slice up.

  • I've never heard of bisquick...sounds interesting though.

The square container does make it easier - plus it cooks more evenly for some reason :)

  • It's like premeasured baking ingredients. It has flour, baking soda, baking powder, and probably some other powders mixed in. But it's very versatile. It can be used to make biscuits, crusts, and pancakes. By the way I'm TOTALLY making this for me and my partner this weekend.

  • Ah, Bisquick. I used to use that stuff to make Impossible Cheeseburger Pie. No, it doesn't exist in Australia. The closest thing would probably be that CWA scone mix (scones in Oz = biscuits in US)

  • you show have an aprin that says i quote "kiss the one pot chef" isnt that so cute :)

    ps love the quiche

  • LOL I used to wear an apron at work, now I hate wearing them!

  • Sexy red whisk of death, eh? :-)

This does look really delicious. I think I'll give it a go, with whole wheat flour and turkey instead of bacon!

    ~Trav

  • Sounds delicious - I love turkey, but rarely have it as it's quite expensive here in Oz :(

  • I know what Im having for lunch tomorrow. :D

  • I hope you enjoy it ;)

  • u have the same whisk as me :D from big w?

  • Aldi actually :P

  • If it tastes good

    it's bad for you.

  • Nah - not always. Unless it has brussel sprouts - then it's gross!!!

  • @OnePotChefShow most of the time yes but one time me and my brother sauted them with butter and red cabbage it was good!

  • @OnePotChefShow What i love brussel sprouts

  • Would be a great brunch item for company too. Thanks sweets.

  • You're very welcome :)

  • "Sexy Red Whisk of DEATH"?!? Such a dark pseudonym for a utensil that whips up something that looks a lot like confetti cake!! I guess I'll have to eat it with a pitchfork, then >:)

  • Wait until you see the "Erotic Rolling Pin of Wisdom" :P

  • Oh my! (unbuttons shirt collar and puts on nerdy glasses) Okay, bring it on! XD

  • Coming soon... :P
