@ScotishBitch12 I agree that Miku isn't the best for the higher register, though it then becomes the fault of the arranger/composer rather than hers, Miku being a computer program after all. :) But hey, to each their own; Meiko rarely does it for me, for instance, and something about Gakupo irritates me most of the time, but there are probably some people who prefer either of them over Miku.

Vocaloid is a voice-synthesizer software. Hatsune Miku is a character they made to represent the voice, in a way. It (Vocaloid) has come a far way since it's creation, and they recently have a manga called Miku Mix (or something along those lines), but sadly, no anime. Yet. You never know. Something to look forward to, I guess. -sigh-

Rather a software, a computer would mean she's some kinda robot. But she aint, she's just a software on a harddrive. So technically she's just data programmed into something that makes it work, duno if you can get a clear vision of what I mean by this but I hope it helps a bit tho. Love Miku forever<3

"What" is probably the more accurate question. Hatsune Miku is a vocal synthesizer, or Vocaloid, created last year by Yamaha, and has since become a huge internet hit. There are several other Vocaloids, such as the Kagamine twins and Kaito, but they don't enjoy Miku's vast popularity.

The beauty of the vocaloids is that since there's hundreds of thousands of people making songs, if you don't like one, you can very easily find another with the same voice.

well if you have a japanese language patcher you can do it...or atleast read it...OOORR change your computer to type in japanese...your cpu has an option to use a language :o or you can learn japanese and get a japanese keyboard? lol you decide which one works for you =P
